Personal development can be described as activity that develop capability of a person and
also develop potential, building human capital enhancing quality of life of a person (Abuloum,
2020). It is a long term process which take though whole life of person and can be develop
through teacher, managers coach, guide, mentor. This project report includes important of
personal as well as professional development of a person. It consist development of personal
development portfolio along with development of transferable skills. Moreover, it consist
development of curriculum vitae which is important for them to apply for a job.
TASK
Importance of personal and professional skills
Personal development can be described as activities that can be develop capability of a
person, potential, building human capital, facilitating employability as well as enhancing quality
of life of a person. It is important for whole life of a person and is not limited to life of a person
(Al Idrus, Wibawa, and Ahmad, 2021). It consist official as well as informal action for purpose
of developing others role like teacher, guide, manager, coach, mentor and other things. It is
important in life of a person for various reason as it provide clarity to vision of a person. It helps
to sharpening existing skills of a person and also helps them to shine to their talent.
Professional development can be described as different resources, tools, training session
for education which allow them to improve quality and effectiveness of a person. It allow them
to improve knowledge of a person and also provide them opportunity to learn. It improve
confidence of a company and also increase their credibility in an organisation. It make
succession planning of a person more easier and also improve efficiency of a person.

and develop employee participation. This also increase satisfaction of employees in order
