Introduction
The requirement of personal growth and academic growth in current dynamic time, achieving
the wide part because of the growth of the country basically focuses on their children as well
as youth. In academic skills and capabilities are more crucial as it assist the students in
improve their skills and competency. People are growing and learning several set of skills
which consist of various academic skills, adaptation of technology, ability of mathematics,
writing skills and communication skills as well. Pupils can take support from several
resources in accordance to improve their capabilities of research as well as gain more
understanding in the working (Sahagun, 2021). Academic skills, capabilities and habits that
assist the students in learning many thing like presentation, word processing, learning as well

as investigation. Moreover to this, it involves researching, planning, communication, several
technological skills and many more. Students that owns brawny skills of academic study as
well as learning can appropriately maintain and increase their motivation level and attain
certain goals and objective conveniently. Additionally, competence and confidence of the
pupils can be enhanced by the appropriate academic abilities. It will also assist people in
managing their work pressure of their exams as well as attaining deadlines before time. The
main purpose of this report is to focus on the academic as well as personal and academic
growth and create the appropriate portfolio, in order to make the students properly improve
their growth academically by making appropriate plans as well as models.
Portfolio evidence (1)
Intending to improve the method of academic growth, it is needed for the students to
focus more on to their life goals which consist of personal as well as professional goals,
aiming to attain these goals as well as objectives conveniently. The following portfolio
focuses more about the certain objectives or goals which is known as Life goals. The aim of
these goals is to make the personal life of people more better as well as achieving all the
required professional aims in order to make their life more better. Setting particular,
measurable targets can offer a way to better the career of people and attain specific
achievements. Students can utilize goal making at the time when they are assigned with the
specific task or work or to personally progressed in any manner. People can make goals
towards education, hobbies, creativity and various more ways in order to better their career as
well as life (Retrosi, Morris, and McGavock,, 2019).
Seven goals created by Brian:
 Decide exactly what people want – It is tough to accomplish goals if people don't
know what exactly they want. Several people are not clear about their objectives or
goals. Making money or being happy are not objectives , these are simply wishes
people make.
 Write goals down – People need to write down about their goals. In accordance to
Brian Tracy, writing the goals can activate the subconscious mind of people and it
assist in turning the goals into the reality.
 Make a deadline – Possessing a appropriate deadline can assist in forcing people to
move ahead in order to accomplish their goals.

 List which can help in accomplishing goals – people should make list regarding
everything which can assist them in accomplishing their goals and people should
write it down till it completes.
 Organizing List – People should organize their list in accordance to the need or
priorities. It will help them in accomplishing the goals that in more priorities and
urgency.
 Work on accomplishing the goals – After making the goals people should focus on
taking appropriate as well as immediate action at the time when it is on the mind of
people. It will assist in achieving the goals more earlier.
 Work on goals daily – It is essential for the people to work on the goal everyday in
accordance to make them more closer towards their goals. In accordance to make it
more convenient, it is essential to make daily habits which can assist in accomplishing
goals that are made by people.

In order to concentrate on professional goals, CREAM learning strategy is very
helpful as it makes the students a successful learner. It assist the people to gain more skills
which can be advantageous for their professional and personal development. In accordance to
understand more about learning, CREAM strategy is used which is mentioned below briefly:
 Creativity – This element of the CREAM strategy is useful in increasing creativity
among people. With the help of it, people can think of new creative ideas. It assist
them in making learning more convenient as well as makes it more flexible. Creative
person does not copy other people's style, moreover they are more focus on applying
their own creativity in learning. It makes the people be different from others.
 Reflective - A reflective individual determines as well as evaluates its own
productivity. In order to be reflective individual, a person need to learn from its earlier
life experiences and also implement them in their future learning. Additionally, an
individual need to evaluate its past mistake and learn from it, also focus on not to
repeat them (Xie, Beyerlein, and Han, 2021).
 Effective – An effectual individual utilises its space, priorities as well as time.
Additionally, effectual skills of study need to be done in accordance to be more
organized and better the learning style and habits as well. In accordance to be more
effective learner people need to set their priorities in accordance to the urgency or

need of the task is. People should also make a time table in order to study and save
their time.
 Activeness – This strategy refers to the people involving themselves personally in
their task and also seek to make it work. In order to be an active learner people need
to participate actively in all of their assignments, conduct appropriate research and
also keep working to accomplish better outcomes.
 Motivated – A motivated learning strategy is when people cherish their learning. In
accordance to be encouraging learning, people need to identify methods to make their
learning interesting and fun, a person need to set their objectives and make themselves
in attaining those objectives as well as think optimistically by motivating.

Learning Preference:
It refers to the way of people learning. Several people learn in various preferences in
order to gain new skills as well as knowledge. It can also be utilised to understand strengths
and utilise them to better their learning practices. People can opt for several style of learning
instead of one in accordance to the different circumstances. People interact with each other
and knows that communication majorly depends on how the person processes. It is more
crucial that an individual need to know that how they can effectively learn and after knowing
that they need to use that to increase the desirable learning. In order to that VARK model is

Various learning methods assist the learners in gaining more motivation and make
their learning experience more better (Cresswell-Yeager, 2021). Learners are more apt to be
more active. As this model offers flexibility to learners in order to make them fit in it. The
following model is mentioned below:
 Visual – This preference refers to show the data in graphs, charts, maps and various
more, which can assist the people to understand it and represent in their own words.
This method is also known as graphical interpretation because it consist of the
appropriate presentation. It does not involve movies, pictures, videos and power point.
It is a graphical display of data. People basically depends on the videos, graphics as
well as written content in order to enhance their knowledge. An individual having
visual matter can easily learn their content (Nguyễn, 2019).
 Aural - This method offers an idea for data which is done by listening. This learning
style is a method in which people learn best by listening guidance as well as
directions and answering them by speaking. It is basic for learners of this style to be
more skillful at acting as well as learning. Therefore, aural learners opt to hear the
lectures instead of taking the written notes. Students can also read in order to support
appropriately understand the content.

 Writing and reading – This method of learning refers to the data which is displayed
as words. Several learners have brawny preference for this method. Learners need to
be more capable to read as well as write appropriately. Students who prefer this
method of learning usually are more habitual to list, power point, dictionary, internet
and many more. At the time when data is displayed in format of text these learners
choose to learn new content (Movchun, Lushkov, and Pronkin, 2021).
 Kinesthetic – It means to the requirement for realistic, movement as well as
situational examples at the time of gaining the information. It is the aspect of VARK
model that shows the several method in which students can gain information. This
learning is commonly appropriate for field trips, role plays, competitions and hand on
assignments as well. As learners usually having appropriate memory and capability to
react immediately.

Teamwork
It is the method of functioning with people together in a team in order to accomplish a
desired work or attain the goals of the company effectively. Working in a team is an essential
element of the company as it is crucial for the other member to function together and putting
their best efforts in any situation (Janke, and Dickhäuser, 2019). It means to the people who
work with utilizing their skills as well as capabilities by offering appropriate feedback
contempt of any issues among them.
Role of teamwork importance of teamwork:
It plays an essential role in the betterment of the company as due to people share their
different work experiences. Also they understand working as a team in which they can make
appropriate strategies as well as creative solutions. All the workers gets several views,
abilities and skills which assist the organization to identify the strategic idea to initiate
regularly in current dynamic world. Below are the reasons of working in a team:
 Increasing Motivation- Team work assist in enhancing the moral, motivation as
well as constructing trust among the members of the team because they provide
several thoughts that assist them to enhance their performance as well as effectiveness
(Conroy, Overson, and Erickson, 2019). All the people in a team can offer something
different which is beneficial for the company as it will assist in accomplishment of
their long term goals and objectives.

 Problem Solving – It helps people in a team to resolve issues as because all the
people gets various options to offer their thoughts and provide various innovative
methods of working. As working in a team can attain the appropriate results to
functioning by group action.
Tuckman team theory:
It is the framework that shows the growth of members of the team which concentrates
on the method in which a group is capable to handle the work from the start of the assignment
to the end of it. (Kour, and Babu, 2021)
(Chen, Wang, and Morrison, 2021) This theory is essential here in order to overcome team
building issues. It is mentioned below briefly:
 Forming – It is the starting level of the development of the team in which people are
free to find their position in the team. People in the team feel equivocal and reduce the
issues in accordance to be chosen in the team.
 Storming – In it, work are ideas, suggestions are offered by the member of the groups
which can also be the reason for the internal conflicts. Power, structural difficulties as
well as leadership reign in this level.
 Norming- In this stage of Tuck man theory, the people work with more harmony and
peacefully in the group, obeying all the values as well as rules in their working. In this
circumstance the group starts build more trust as they are ready to offer their needed
contribution in order to accomplish the goals.
 Performing – In this level the team has come up to the performing stage as they can
concentrate on other objectives as well as on the new working in order to assist the
organization. It also assist in boosting the engagement of the workers by delegating
their work (Pospisilova, 2018).

Reflect on being an effective student of Business Management in higher education.
In the business management studies, the skills and capabilities of leaders can be
gained that assist the pupils to appropriately shape their profession in the area of marketing.
Moreover, with the support of professional development, self esteem of the people gets
enhanced which aids them in being self dependents. It also assist in bettering the confidence
and knowledge of the people. Apart from that, lack of such set of skills can restraint the the

development of the people. In addition to this, such skill, capabilities and knowledge should
be reliable. Because of this, employees are regularly updated with the fluctuations of the price
and the work of accomplishing the goals turns to be more convenient. Furthermore, as I am a
marketing students so that I am very much focused with my academics because I think that
education in the marketing has an essential role in my overall career development. It also has
an essential role for attaining the opportunities I get and also assist me in learning several set
of skills that will support me in excelling my career. There are several elements in studying
marketing in higher education that assist me in my personal as well as professional growth.
Few of the main elements that has been evaluated by me is that it supports in analyzing the
needed efforts, It also offers aid for making the objectives and goals which later lead to the
accomplishing them. It also assist me in enhancing my understanding and knowledge. In
addition to this, I have to concentrate on overcoming my threats as well as weaknesses and
work on my strengths in order to eliminate future issues. It can also be attain with the support
of my personal evaluation. My strengths can assist me effectual communication and also in
possessing appropriate skills of leadership. Apart from this, my weaknesses is the time
management as I needed to complete my work on time without missing my deadlines.

assist me to achieve personal and future success.
From the above report it can be seen that if the people wants to get success they
should gain specific talents as well as skills. Additionally, people are needed to evaluate their
skills in order to understand the need of modifications on the consistent manner. Moreover, I
am needed to have the optimistic approach and behavior in accordance to accomplish my
required objectives and goals effectively. I need to focus on making the bond with the others
who belongs to various culture so that they can instill the understanding and idea of several
culture. Moreover, I focus on accomplishing the growth and in order to do that I am required
to upgrade my set of skills and I also need to evaluate the fact which I want to accomplish
that can be done by acquiring required knowledge in respect to my goals as well as
objectives. In addition to this, I have also determined that there is need of an appropriate plan
which is based on the element of personal growth in accordance to gaining these set of skills.
There are specific skills that are required some improvement for the effectual attainment of
my assigned targets.
In addition to it, the initial skill which I need to develop properly is decision making
skill in which I am needed to increase my capability of decision making. Apart from this, I

need to possess positive attitude and behavior as I am required to have the optimistic way at
the time of keeping my bond with others in the company. Moreover to this, I need to possess
the interpersonal set of skill in which I should possess appropriate skills of communication as
it will assist me in communicating with others providing my ideas without any hesitation.
Management skills are also necessary for me in order to manage my time effectual way as it
is the main area for the attainment of success.

and how this has improved my learning.
VARK learning Style – It is the model that consist of four elements that aasist in
learning preferences. Those four elements are kinetic, reading, listening as well as visual. It
supports in increasing the personal and professional success of the students. Additionally,
visual learners assist the students that have interest in their visual way of learning. It consist
of several types of diagrams, charts, graphs and many more. In addition to this, students to
focus more on the lectures that can assist them. Moreover to this, Write and read learners are
those that are very much into research apt to gain this style of learning as because they need
to learn or communicate with the help of their writings. At the end is Kinetic learners, who
commonly consist of the hand on learning and moreover, it is known that students and their
teachers are needed to be more active and they should infuse this style of learning. Hence,
with the support of this framework it assist in effectual learning and therefore lead to
effective accomplishment of goals.
Model 2
As with the assistance of model of personal growth which was founded by Mind
Elevator that show the five essential methods regarding to the self betterment or personal
development that consist of several activities, belief, assessment and plan. As with the use of
the respective model it can be appropriately observed that modifications are needed by the
person. Moreover to it, this model also assist with the features of values as it is the stage in
which specific new things are identified in order to set the similar goals. In addition to this
next plan is to make proper techniques and strategies in order to be the effectual learner.
There are the plans in that it is needed to be formed in an effectual manner by which the
objectives can be accomplished. It is also known as the essential step in implementation of
appropriate actions in accordance to accomplishment of the target as due to the several

responsibilities are involved in it. I am also required to possess several programs of
mentoring in order to make such plans that are advantageous for me by attaining them. At the

completed task is done in accordance to acquire this model.
