1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development, and the
transferable skills
Self reflection has been found as essential for the personal development of an individual as it
enhance the learning and development of several skills in academics. Individuals can develop
its career by enhancing the skills and academics (Lejeune, Beausaert and Raemdonck, 2021).
Development of skills of individual also leads to the improvement in its productivity. I have
to work on my skills and develop several strategies in order to attain the organizational goals
and objectives.
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal learning and
development
Personal growth is the procedure of acquiring lifelong abilities. Individuals enhance their
abilities and attributes as part of the personal development process in order to achieve their
chosen goals and objectives. Setting life objectives is an essential component of an
individual's development because it aids in future employ ability. I also create a fit of skills
inside myself that contribute to the advancement of my marketing career. I've acquired
certain talents, but I still need to work on others. Some talents that aren't necessary for a
Marketing Executive Manager have been discovered. According to my self-analysis, I have
already developed several capabilities during my academic education. Several occurrences
that occurred during my academic education assisted me in acquiring abilities that are
extremely beneficial in reaching career success. I also discovered that I lacked all of the
necessary talents, so I've had to work on honing those that are essential to accomplish the
marketing executive manager's job. I can advance my job more effectively and efficiently if I
master these talents.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed by
attending this module
 Information Technology: The advancement of technology in the business sector is
critical since it simplifies commercial operations as compared to manual processes
(Martin, 2019). By attending the supplied module, I was able to gain this Transferable
talent inside myself. It is vital to develop information technology skills in order to use

the computer and technology at work to complete assigned tasks in an effective and
efficient manner. Now I can utilise the web-based word processor programme in my
regular activities, which improves my efficiency.
 Listening: As a communication skill, it is also vital. During my academic pursuits, I
improved this competence by paying attention to the lecturers' lectures during the
module. It also has a significant impact at work, since the marketing executive
manager is in charge of disclosing information on employees, customers, and team
members (Osgerby, Marriott and Gee, 2018). A marketing manager is responsible for
effectively and efficiently comprehending essential or complex information that is
related to potentially costly mistakes that result in the loss of chances.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies, personal life
and the workplace
During my academic studies, I identified few ability that I would like to cultivate in myself in
order to assist me obtain a decent place in an organization. The following are some of the
abilities:
 Communication skills: This is the most significant quality that an employer looks for
in a candidate. My marketing and finance studies are now complete. I'd like to
advance my career in the field of marketing. As a result, it is vital for a marketing
executive or manager to have excellent communication skills in order to create
effective relationships with customers, which will aid in increasing the organization's
productivity and profitability (Mason, 2018).
 Research and analytical skills: It has been discovered that running a business is not
an easy undertaking. At work, a variety of issues always arise. It is becoming
increasingly important for management to make good judgments based on research
(Müller and et. al., 2021). In addition, marketing executives must conduct research to
learn about customer wants and demands.
