1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
It is very important for an individual to develop their personality in order to achieve a
successful position in personal as well as professional life. Personality development
is basically a life long process in which an individual can effectively identifies their
skill and knowledge and according to that set their objectives. By doing this the
ability of an individual of doing something has been increases and became more
productive and confident in their life. The identification of the skill not only help an an
individual in achieving their set goals in a very effective manner but also help in
developing strategies for the personal vision. The whole process of personality
development is the process of self improvement due to which an individual can
effectively focus on developing their skill and knowledge. Personality development is
basically comprises of different activities in which potential and capabilities of an
individual has been developed which facilitate in employ-ability. For making effective
and progressive future it is very important for an individual to start develop their
personality. With the help of this not only the interpersonal skill but also the listening
and communication skill ha s also been improved. The development of the
communication and listening skill in an individual help them in achieving a successful
position in life.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
During working on this module I am able to develop different types of skills
with in me. As the technology changes everyday and I learned that it is very
important for me to adopt the changing technology according to the change in time .
While working on this module the skills which have been developed by me help me
to face all the problem which came in front of me in making a great future. Following
are the skills which have been evolve and developed by me has been discussed
below :-
 Problem solving skills :- during my academic time I don't posses the
problem solving skill due to which different types of issues and complexities
has been faced by me like I leave the given assignment in between because
I am not able to solve the problem. But after working on this assignment the
problem solving skill has been developed within me. As the task which have
been assigned to me is a group activity, so while working in a group different
types of problem has been faced by me. But with the developed of this skill
with in me, I am able to solve the problem in a very effective manner with the
help of my innovative and creative idea.
 Effective communication skill :- the communication skill has also been
developed with in me while working on this module. The task which have
been assigned to me is group activity, so group discussion has been done in

which we all have to share our opinions and ideas in front of each other. So
by sharing my ides in front of my team members, this skill has been
developed with in me.
 Written skill :- in the modern era not only the good communication skill but
also the good writing skill has also been required. In order to communication
on the different electronic media like email or whats app the writing skill play a
very significant role. While working on this module this skill has been evolved
within me due to which I am to communicate with my team members on these
electronic medium in a very effective manner.
 Learning skill :- in this skill not only the reading of books and studying of
different courses has been included but also the innovative thoughts and new
experiences has also been comprises. Different types of experiences has
been experienced by me while working on this module due to which
knowledge has been increased.
While working on this module other things has been developed by me which help me
to achieve a successful position in life and also help to me to make my future better.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
Following are the skills which I would like to develop during my academic
studies, personal life and the workplace has been explained below:-
 Presentation skill :- with the development of this skill with in me I am able to
share my ideas to my team members and within the workplace in a very
effective manner.
 Leadership skill :- this skill plays a very important role in an individual life, I
would like to develop this skill with in me. With the help of this skill I become
an effective leader which help me in my professional and my personal life.
 Interpersonal skill :- I would like to develop this skill with in me because with
the help of this skill with in me I am able to make my good relation with my
team members and with other. These relations help me in getting promotion
and new jobs.
 Critical thinking skill :- thinking out of the box is the most important element
of this skill. In my professional and personal life different types of problem has
been faced by me and with the help of critical thinking skill I am able to face
and overcome from all these problems in a very effective manner. Along with
this , with the help of this skill I can effective analyses the given information,
so I would like to develop this skill within me.
