1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development, and the transferable skills 1.1Identificationandreflectiononmyapproachtopersonal learning and development Personal development refers to the kind of acts that are intended to improve andmodify individual or collectivetalents, potential, employ- ability and even wealth(Ashraf and et.al 2022. Anything that is attempted insearchofimprovementofyourownselfistermedaspersonal development. The importance of development on a personal level is something that can not be ignored or taken lightly as it is a phenomena that assists individuals to become the best version of themselves. It provides you the skills, confidence and knowledge required to upscale their personality and shine on in their lives. Personal development as an opportunity helps individuals to embrace their own self, learn from their mistakes, measure self growth and improve the quality of their lives. It provides us with the skill and mindset needed to thrive in any difficult or unwanted situations and make our dreams and aspirations come true withourownselfgrowthanddevelopment.Personaldevelopment specifically for me has helped me understand the importance and power of confidence, self growth and potential that an individual attains and that we can work upon in our lives to live up to our expectations and much more. It has helped me grow myself out of many difficult and unwanted scenarios which without personal growth, knowledge and self workwouldn'thavebeenpossible.Theonesphereinpersonal development that guided and motivated me the most was the personal vision process which required me to imagine all my career goals and aspirations that I would like to achieve in coming future as it motivated me and gave me the opportunity to look at all the areas of growth that I can aim fr and all the works that I have done till now that guide me to lead the path that I imagine for my future. Personal development has providedmewiththemindsettoworkuponmyself,upscalemy learning's and evaluate my abilities in some time to check the self growth that I have attained in the times I have worked hard. 1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed by attending this module Transferable skills also termed as portable skills refer to those qualities andabilitieswhichcanbetransferredfromonejobpositionto another(Fang,Wei, and Mei, 2022) . It is very important to highlight the transferableskillssuchasdecisionmaking,communicationand 3
leadership skills that I attain in myself when switching the job positions to presentmyselfasthebestcandidatefortheorganizationandto showcase my personality as the best suited for the job role I apply for. These skills can be from any sphere of or lives including economic, social or behavioural. For me the most important transferable skills that I attain and want to master are : communication, teamwork, leadership and relationship building. These skills are the one which do not depend upon the job profile and hence are constant for each and every job role that I can perform in my life. The decision making skill is the one I want have developed but want to master to a higher advance level in my personal life as it will help me make better informed decisions in any sphere of my life and will give me the chance to analyze each and every situation that occurs in front of me. The second skill that I think I have developed by working in this module is of teamwork. As while working on this module I connected with many of my teammates for the process, working and completion of this project and I realized what importance does teamwork holds in the position when you work and research on any team project or files. Another transferable skill is of communication. Communication skill refers to the most necessary transferable skills that have helped me acquire the process of imparting the data to another medium for making them comprehensible through various sources. All these transferable skills have helped me enhance my profile and present myself as the bests suited candidate for the various job opportunities I apply for by presenting all of my portable skills that I can provide to the organisation I work for. 1.3 Skills I would like todevelop during my academic studies, personal life and the workplace Skills are the acquired ability to perform a task. As I grow there are various skills if acquired, would make difference in my life. Learning punctuality, discipline, unity, communication and time management in my academics period will prepare me for successful career ahead .
