1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
Individual learning and personal development may be defined as a lifelong process.
With the help of this it can be effectively describes that how an individual can assess
its qualities and abilities while reviewing their life goals and set goals to realize and
maximize their talent. Personal learning as well as the personal development include
all the activities which is needed by me in order to improve my identity and
awareness, increase potential, improve quality of life, and contribute to the
realization of imagination and ambitions (Mgarbi, Chkouri and Tahiri, 2021). An
important role in played by the personal development and the learning in boosting
my growth and progress. This allows me to discover significant areas of self-
improvement for a fulfilling personal life. Along with this it also helps me to acquire
different types of benefits which make my life successful and make my future better.
Through personal learning and development, I will get to known that what I have to
do in the future to advance my career. Along with this, this also allows me to develop
professional objectives in a strong and informed manner. Setting clear and
accomplishment of goals motivates me to attain them effectively. This will assist me
in learning new and innovative things, build new capabilities within me and make my
professional as well as academic career successful. Through skill development, I
can enhance my chances of success, realize my dreams and better attain the
personal and professional goals.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
Transferable skills are basically those skills or abilities which are significant and
useful in various extents for an individual's life, including social, professional, and
academic life. These abilities are also called portable skills because they assist the
individuals to transfer from one job to another. When changing jobs or changing
industries, it is significant to emphasize the skills that can be changed. This covers
the various types of skills as well knowledge which are vital that help me performing
diverse types of work in improved way (Knollenberg and et. al., 2021). There are
numerous kinds of transferable skills that need to be developed in order to improve
professional careers, such as decision making, leadership, adaptability, time
management, organising, teamwork, and communication skills. The ability to make
