IntroductionTerm “personal and professional development” is referred to the activities, which arebasically performed to improve the quality of life, enhance the awareness on particular subjectsand potential within the individuals. In order to do so, I realised that learning plays a crucial role,which helps an individual in focusing on different range of personal and professional skills, thatcould help in personal along with the professional development. Present essay, will cover futurework skills in regards to online sources of my own and including this it is also going to coverlearning in this unit may positively affect my work in other units during the life (Reynolds,2017). Away with this, I am also going to show my own progress focusing upon course goalsthat will aid me in becoming a successful individual. Lastly, in between the essay, I am alsogoing to use one or two theories or the practices that will aid in conducting the overall personaldevelopment program much more authentic, that will help me in my near future.Future Work SkillsIn present time, it can be said that online sources are rapidly affected individuals' life andlearning. Digital technology, has changed the whole scenario for the people related to theirthinking and perceptions (Want to stay relevant? These 5 future work skills will be essential,2019). At present, a person rely on online sources rather than sourcing the books and journals forcollection of the information in physical or traditional manner. Based on the analysis that I havedone, I found that my own future work skills like searching the relevant topics on the internet,creativity, complex problem solving and more are continuously helping me in better learning inregards to the chosen topic. At the time of learning, I experienced that studying a particularsubject in a detailed manner is not an easy task. Me or any other individual would require to lookinto a range of reliable sources, which could be anything from online websites, journals or books.Considering the primal most future skill i.e. critical thinking and while focusing upon the onlinesource, I can say that this skill has developed due to different range of sources that are availablefor me to search on a particular topic Chupina, Pleshakova, and Konovalova, (2016) With thehelp of this, I have become able to look into a particular topic for an example “globalisation”considering different mindsets of individuals who has given their point of views on online medialike LinkedIn, Facebook and more.
