INTRODUCTION
Personal development is an ongoing process which helps in enhancing individuals skills
and qualities according to the capabilities and potential (Lejeune, Beausaert and Raemdonck,
2021). This report will illustrate about learnings and skill development which enhanced the result
of the project and further it includes the personal experience through which confidence level can
be increased and how it can be beneficial in future career. The report also illustrates about the
essential skills required for further development to be successful in business career.
MAIN BODY
TASK-1
Skills that I had been developed while doing project
When I was selected in a team of project which was based on presenting new and
innovative ideas regarding the product launch. At initial stage it was very difficult for me to
communicate with other people and after dealing with the project my skills and knowledge is
enhanced with the effective communication skill as it is very important in the success of any
project as it ensures about the working together as a team. In handling with the project my
communication skills promotes enough confidence level among the subordinates. While working
in team it also helps me in improvement of time management in which there is proper planning
of activities has been done with respect to the time allotment. It enables me to get my work
complete in smarter way rather than doing hard work within the stimulated time frame. There are
certain skills required for being successful in communication at the workplace such as be an
active listener, non-verbal communication, stress management and emotional control.
The things I have aware now that I did not know previously
At the initial stage of the project, my manager appointed me as team leader under which I
have to perform certain tasks that I had never done before in my whole career. Initially I felt
really conscious about my responsibilities and felt somehow lacking behind into it as it is very
much difficult to handle group of members to fulfil the task. But by identifying the individuals

capabilities and efficiency, I had divided the work among all my team members according to
their abilities and skills which makes them work with maximum of their talent. Being working as
team leader, I had realized that it is essential to have complete understanding over the
coordination and communication among the employees. By working in a team, my leadership
skills was developed by commanding and effectively managing the human resources to work
with maximum efficiency level.
Improvement in my confidence level after this project
While dealing with the project, I have recognized that being the project leader I have to
built my confidence level up to a great extent which empowers my self-esteem. By regular
communicating to various people during the project leads to think more, which enhances my
thinking ability and knowledge, makes more confident in dealing with various issues. At
completion of the project I realize that proper coordination and control among subordinates
requires effective communication skills with full confidence. During the project, I realize that
now I am better able to evaluate the situations and that too in optimistic manner. Performing this
project enables me to look positive aspects about each and every employee which helps in
motivating to do more with better efforts. The project also realizes me that a good level of
confidence and communication leads to better understanding among subordinates and builds
personal relationships which helps in achievement of goals and objectives of the organizations.
The ways in which learnings help in my future career
Being effectively working as team leader in an organization, I further can use my
learnings and outcome to become as marketing manager in my future career. The marketing
manager performs various role in an organization like to promote a business, product or services
effectively in market scenario. From my personal skills, I will able to perform the role of
marketing manager activities in better way, by applying my management skills such as planning,
controlling, coordinating and directing. Being the marketing manager, I must be highly trained
and requires excellent communication skills. Thus, it leads to effectively perform the duty of
managing promotion and positioning the brand of the particular company. I must have ability to
supervise and coordinate business activity by effectively using interpersonal skills,
communication skills, leadership skill, decision-making, problem solving etc.
