Introduction
Personal development is a practice denoted as enhancing the individual capabilities and
potential. This is all about identifying the individual need that can associate with the
professional. The role of personal development is very significant in nature as it support
the individual to cherish the individual capability and potential in order to approach the
career objectives in the best way possible. This project is discussed over the personal
development plan (Anderson, 2018). Henceforth, report would emphasis over the concept
of personal development. Discussion would also be done reading the personal and
professional development practice. Value of short term goal will also analysis under this
project. Furthermore, project will also talk about the ways medium term goals would
empower the practice of personal level of development. Long term goal will also be
discussed under this project. Value of a personal development plan will be discussed
under this project.
2. Definition of the concept of personal and professional
development
Personal and professional development is a practice that is about to demonstrate the
strategic path that can support the best form of career development practice. The concept of
personal development is all about entertaining the practice that can support the best form of
personal growth at an individual level. This is a concept that denote the certain ways and
drivers that can channelize the best form of personal growth of the individual. This concept of
personal development is all based on the individual level of need and requirements of the
professional (Kimmel, 2020). Personal development is more like enhancing the individual
skills and capability at personal level on a general basis. This support the overall growth and
development of the individual person. Personal development is more like adopting the certain
techniques that could drive the best form of individual growth and development possibility.
The significance of personal level of development is very crucial in nature as this state the
best level of career growth and advancement at an individual level so that best level of
strategic growth could have been entertained under this practice. Direction of personal
development is significant in nature as it would indicate about the practice that can be driven
in respect to the individual level of growth and development practice.
Professional development on the other hand is a practice that is about to cherish the
professional level of growth and development possibility of the individual. This is a prospect
