Personal development is very essential part of the personal and professional life, that is tool or
methods which helps the individuals in the incorporation of reflective analysis tool along with
personal and professional skills development strategy (Anjum, S., 2020). Which can be further
proceed as personal development plan to improve and develop the selected skills and knowledge.
All these factors considered under the learning and development process which encourage the
use of personal and professional skills reflective analysis in order find out the particular area of
improvement in context to the goal of life. In context to academics there are the various sets of
the skills which need to be posses by the every student , such skills are critical thinking,
referencing, writing, literature review etc. In this report different aspects of personal and
professional development is considered in context to the academics skills and goals of
individuals.
Definition and concept of personal and personal development
Personal and professional development is the process of learning and improvement, this helps
individuals to engage with the process of learning in order to work on the personal and
professional skills analysis and improvement according to the requirements of desired goal, then
by the help of this individual can achieve their goal by meeting the required skills and knowledge
of that particular area of goal. Personal and professional development is specific area of learning
and improvement which helps the individuals to manage there own learning and growth
throughout their career. This helps the individuals to ensure that they are working in a right
direction of growth and development, by providing the effective framework of personal
development plan through which person can analyze their skills strength and weakness. then
work on the development of that according to the updated environment of desired career and

Personal development- This is the continuous process of lifelong learning and development,
this is a very important mode of the individuals life through which they work on their skills and
quality analysis, set there goal of the life then in context to that set the objectives to improve the
efficiency and potential of there is girls in context to the life goal. This helps to make effective
plan of life choice and career (Lejeune, C., Beausaert, S. and Raemdonck, I., 2018).

the process of continuous learning once the person enter to the educational and carrier field. This
is essential for each and every students and workforce professionals because that helps to
develop new skills and updated with new trends and techniques. Which further aid to get
advance in university or workplace. Professional development is strategies of becoming best
performing person with all essential skills and knowledge of the personal and professional life.
This encouraged to get all essential trainings and educational opportunities which can add value
to the professional knowledge and experience of the individual.
Analysis and evaluation of value of short term goals with some examples
Every individual and a students are having some goals of their career and life and this can be
short term long term depending on the particular objectives behind those goals and the period of
requirements. Some of the goals can be short and mid term in order to achieve one of the best
and selective long term goal. Such in context to the academic life, student are having different
sets of goals to achieve the final and long-term goal of best educational result and position at the
University with the accomplishment of all award winning goals and objectives. So in order to
meet the long term goal of getting first position at the University, student must have to first
achieve short and mid-term goals. Which can be related to the certain certification and academic
skills development. Below is the brief illustration of short term goals within some examples
