Abstract
Effective personal and inter personal communication is a key to success for a business. It has
been identified that a wrongly designed communication channel may adversely affect the growth
and even the operations of the firm and vice-versa. The present report aims to assess the
requirement for personal and interpersonal communication within the ABC Company.
At the very outset of the study, the CEO of the chosen company has detailed with several facts
highlighting the reasons enforcing managers to make effective communication system as their
priority. The subsequent parts of the report have covered and examined the different aspects of
the subject of personal and interpersonal communication in details.
Initially, the subject has been introduced, which has been followed by several subsections on the
content of the significance of the personal and interpersonal aspects of communication. The
imperative use of the aspects in a business scenario and the communication traits of the aspects
have been discussed in the study as well with correct citation support. The approaches to
communication that can convince or persuade others have also been detailed herein. In this, the
negatives platforms of communication like personal networks and grapevine have been
highlighted along with its negative characteristics.
While undertaking such discussions, several factors related to interpersonal communications like
problem solving, decision making, negotiations etc have been attempted to discuss in brief.
Finally, the researcher wraps up the discussion by way of concluding note.

1.0 Introduction
Effectual communication, personal and interpersonal skills are not simply significant for the
development of a company yet also for the survival purpose of a business. As per Nave (2014),
there needs to be a correct synchronization amongst leaders and their employees to comprehend
the prerequisites of potential customers and serving them effectively. This understanding would
help both managers and employees to evolve in careers with the business as well. It has been
identified that effective personal, interpersonal communication and listening skills have become
the fundamental aspect in every organization to successfully run the internal operations. The
current report attempts to evaluate the need for personal and interpersonal communication within
the ABC Company.
