INTRODUCTION
Personal learning is a process developing skills and competencies that are required for
individuals and help them in realising their different objectives. This assessment will involve
personal development plan and reflection. Personal development plan will involve personal
analysis by personal Swot, setting goals and personal objectives. Personal objectives involve
short term, medium term and long term goals.

Strengths Areas of future development
Oral communication skills- Oral communication
skill is one in which one can effectively
communicate when communication takes place in
oral form.
Research skills- Research skill is one through
which one become able to make research from
different sources that are valid and reliable in short
time (Issayev, Masalimova and Magzumova,
2018). This is an skill that is important in both
academic as well as in professional
Hard working- This strength of individuals enable
them to work with dedication to achieve their goals
and objectives. Being hard working also involves
working extra to achieve what they want to
achieve.
Creative- This is one of the very important
strength in present times and employment
environment. Being creative is thinking something
unique and thinking what others cannot think
Written communication skills- This is an area
that requires development. Written communication
skills involve ability of individuals to effectively
communicate in written form.
Information technology skills- Information
technology skill is ability of individuals to utilise
and work on different types of information
technology and its different tools. Mainly computer
and learning operating systems is included in this.
Time management- This is a area of development
and time management involves effective division of
available time and prioritising tasks and achieving
aims in predetermined time.

Graduation- This is an opportunity that graduation

very important for a career in business management
profession. In business management there are

Creative professionals- This is also an opportunity
as creativity is one of the strength. There are
several professionals in creative area and this is

knowledge- This is one of the important threat that

Short term goals (next 12 months)
Developing written communication skills- This is one of skills that enable individuals to effectively write
and this skills is important in both academic as well as professional life.
Developing information technology skills- Learning effective use and practicing computer and different
operating systems to become expert in technology

Learning time management skills- Learning effective time allocation and completion of goals in set time
limit (Li and Kennedy, 2018). This is because time management is important for succeeding in every area
of life including academic success or professional achievements time management plays very important
role.
Enhancing creativity- Becoming able to think in unique ways and this is along with creativity related
professional is also useful in professionals that are solely not based on creativity
Medium term goals (next 2-3 years)
Graduating- Graduating and getting graduation degree is a goal that is to be fulfilled in 2-3 years
Developing networking skills- This is a skill that enable individuals to connect with different people and
create and grow network of people who can support and help in realisation of different goals and
objectives
Getting internship in management- This is also a medium term goal that I have and this involves getting
internship opportunity in a well known organisation (Carless, 2019). Internship to gain experience and
develop knowledge that is useful in professional success in career
Longer term goals (beyond 3 years)
MBA- After completing graduation and getting degree in graduation achieving a master’s degree is a long
term goal.
Getting Job in business management profession in a multinational organisation- This is a long term
goal in which after graduating and completing internship I want to get job in multinational organisation in
business management profession.

Reflective personal profile
Concrete Experience
During several experiences that I had doing my studies and other academic activities I
realise that I lackof the skills that are required to fulfil my different goals and objectives.Many of
the skills that I lack also were affecting efficiency of skills that I have. This means that even
though I am hard working but in effective time management create difficulty in achieving goals
in time. In addition to this as I lack Information Technology skills I could not utilise my
creativity properly. Other than this my performance also affected because of in effective written

communication skill (Din, Idris and Tajuddin, 2020). During SWOT analysis I asked my peers
and seniors about my strength and weaknesses and they also help me in identifying some of the
strengths that I have.
Reflective Observation
On the basis of feedback received from and also my identify strengths and weaknesses I
decided to identify some of the opportunities and threats. In order to identify opportunities and
threats brainstorming and Research was very important and helped me in identifying what can be
future opportunities for me that I can utilise on the basis of skills and strengths that I have.
During this I also realised that it is important to work on different weaknesses that I have so that
I can avoid potential threats and their impact on achieving my objectives and targets. I realise
that having adequate and required skills and knowledge will help me in achieving my goals and
objectives.
Abstract Conceptualization
On the basis of experiences that I had in past and during SWOT analysis I realise that it is
very important to have a plan that can help me in developing skills and knowledge that I do not
have. On the basis of this I developed a plan for skill development and this plan includes
development and improvement in communication skills time management skills and skills for
information technology. These are some of the skills that I require in order to achieve my goals
and objectives and are becoming a barrier in my success.
Active Experimentation
The basis of plan created for skill development different activities have been undertaken
that includes identifying courses and programs that are suitable and according to my requirement
of learning (Chiu and Lee, 2019). In addition to this skills that are to be developed through
practice at individual level have been started to work on and research has been made. In doing
these activities time management has been given key consideration that every activity and task
get completed within a specified time. This means that I am working on developing skills within
specified time in plan.

CONCLUSION
On the basis of above discussion it can be concluded that SWOT analysis is very
important to identify strength and weaknesses of individual. On the basis of identified
weaknesses and requirements of skill development a plan was developed. This plan included
different skills that require to be developed and lastly report included personal objectives on the
basis of short term, medium term and long term.
