Personal and professional development of students helps them attain their career
objectives. In order to initiate personal and professional development students
need to identify their personal skills and areas of improvement. This helps them
select career prospects which provide scope for career development. This
presentation includes a personal SWOT analysis along with personal skills audit

certification in hedge fund regulations. This will
develop my knowledge in hedge fund management

I have leadership and communication skills gap which
are necessitates to gain success in the finance
industry. This will affect my long-term employability
at low skilled jobs in the finance industry. This is
because improvement in AI technology can replace
low paying jobs which require routine manual skills
and cognition. On the other hand high skilled jobs at
management roles in the finance sector will to be
affected by AI technology in the near future as they
involve managing others and require usage of non-
routine cognitive skills.

Small term career prospects
Junior accountant: This is a small term finance
career prospect which provides significant
services to business firms by maintaining an
accurate record of corporate finances. This
palsy an important role in finance
department and provides support to the
accounting department by handling general
accounting tasks on a daily basis.

Progression opportunities
The main progress activity which will
materialize after my graduation is that I will
be able to seek certification in hedge fund
regulations which will help me attain me
career goal of becoming hedge fund
manager. This will improve my CV and helps
me stand out from the completion in terms of
hedge fund management knowledge.

CONCLUSION
From the above presentation it is determined that personal skills audit and SWOT
analysis are helpful in understanding personal capabilities and weaknesses.
This is because personal skills audit helps understand level of confidence an
individual has over their capabilities and SWOT analysis helps identify key
strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities for the individual. These
analysis are helpful in determining small, medium and long term.
