INTRDUCTION
Personal development is refer to the set of activities which is used by single person
person for increasing their performance effectively. But in aspect of professional development it
is defined as the overall learning procedure which is used by individual or group of persons. The
purpose of both personal and professional development is to enhance the ability, knowledge and
skills of each and every student. The special skill which is important for their future career are
referencing, writing, presentation and others (Bamrungsin and Khampirat, 2022). Due to the
effective personal and professional development of students, there career are highly secured for
long duration. The report will covers highlight the transferable skills that have been developed
during the programme, focusing particularly on teamwork situations and how you believe your
learning from the programme can be applied to your future career. It also covers Gibb's reflective
model to underpin their reflection.
TASK
Gibb's Model
Gibb's model is basically a reflection model which is essential for the development of
overall personality of students. This model consist of six stages which includes description,
feeling, evaluation, evaluation, analysis, conclusion and action plan. This reflective cycle model
is developed by Graham Gibbs in 1988. This model gives proper structure of learning to each and
every individual person. It facilitates frame work for evaluating experience and given its cycle nature
lends itself particularly well to repeated experiences. It also allowed every individual student to learn
and plan from various things during the time of studying in college.
Description – During the time of study in university I attend various seminars, also conduct
different types of competitions and other programmes. Due to conducting various programmes and
seminars I understand the value of life and career growth. During my academics I also received lot of
knowledge which is related with professional course which includes use of digital platforms, use of
computers etc. At the time of academics I tried to improve my personality with help of achieving
lots of knowledge from my teachers and also from my friends. During the time of academics I faced
various problems in my studies because at that time my skills are not effectively developed. It creates
negative impact on my performance and also damaged my credibility in front of my teachers.
Feeling - During the time of my academics I have great experience with my friends and
teachers. Because during that time I realize that what is the importance of friends in our life. Due to

having friends ate that time I easily completed my work in time. My other experience or feeling at
that time is that I received challenging task or assignments from my teacher which is highly helpful
to me for developing or improving my skills. But sometimes these challenges creates stress in my
mind and due to this my work time and it also leads to decrease my performance in my study and
career growth. Due to this I am also not able to solve the problems of my team mates quickly in the
form of leader. The skills which I developed during the time of academics for solving these issues are
problem solving ability, communication skills, leadership skills etc.
Evaluation – The situations which is occurred in negative manner during the time of my
academics is that preparing games, organizing events etc . During the time of preparing game I faced
lot of difficulties in writing and understanding the rules and regulations (Sriklaub and Ruengtrakul,
2022). Due to conducting these events I realize that in which way Improve my skills and weakness.
With help of these skills my professional life is highly developed during the time of academics. Due
to these development I am able to handle my team members easily during the time of doing any type
of work. Because in work effective coordination is highly essential for accomplishing the task in
systematic manner. Professional development is also important for increasing the career growth at
maximum level. With help of these elements various institutes are able to identify their own strength
and weakness in any type of work. The main motive for preparing this plan is to reducing the
problems of students or other categories of peoples which was faced by them in organization or
institute on monthly and daily basis.
Analysis – From the analysis of my strength and weakness I realized that skills is very
important in my life and during the time of academics. Because without skills I am not able to
manage multiple work in same time. Due to this I decided to join various types of courses during the
time of my study which highly supports me to improve my ability, skills and knowledge with in short
duration. With help of improvement I am able to present my thoughts or the topic effectively in front
of my teachers. It leads to enhance my confidence level at higher rate for long time. In this way my
career growth is effectively sustained in long term. Due to the use of various skill I am also able to
solve the problems of my team members quickly and also able to give right direction to them as an
leader.
Conclusion – After the analysis of above information it is concluded educational programme
and various skills plays important role in the future and career growth of students. With help of
applying different types of skills such as communication, leadership, writing and others good
relations are easily developed with the seniors and teachers. The main advantage for adapting

educational programmes from university and teacher is that students are able to do the work in
systematic and attractive manner. Due to doing work in systematic manner topics are easily cleared
for all students in long term. Due to the effective utilization of skills communications and
coordination are effectively worked during the time of conducting any type of project.
Action Plan – During my studies I understand that I am not good in various things or skills
which is essential for enhancing my performance and career growth. That skills are leadership,
communication, writing, problem solving ability and others (Hıdıroğlu and Tanrıöğen, 2022). Due
to this problem I decided to study and buy special courses which is highly essential for securing my
professional career for long time. In aspect of leadership skills I am able to guide my team mates in
right direction. In aspect of communication skills I am able to maintain proper coordination with
team members. In this procedure reliable and meaningful information are shared between students
and professors within low time. Other one is writing skills and during my study in university in will
attend the various lectures and programmes and made a deep research about various types of writing
styles. In this way my writing skill is highly improved within short duration. After developing these
type of skills my overall personal and professional development is easily sustained for long duration
and also easily achieved by vision, mission and objectives successfully.
