Professional and personal development of an individual include development of abilities,
knowledge, talent and skills to grow his career and accomplish his goals and objectives. It
include different training and learning opportunities (Rosmaladewi, Abduh and Basri, 2020). It is
an ongoing activity for the skill and knowledge development to attaining three type of goals.
These goals include short term, medium term and long term goals. This report will be based on
the concept of professional and personal development of people. There will be a discussion on
three major goals in individual's life. In addition, this report will also include a PDP that help a
person to know about the are of development.
MAIN BODY
Define concept of the individual and professed improvement
The professional and personal improvement program is considered as a uninterrupted
procedure of developing the action plan which are based on the self contemplation,
consciousness, objectives, growing preparation and value related to career, education, self
improvement and many more. It can also be defined as process of developing course of the
action on the basis of planning for developing oneself. Personal development program can be
exploited by a person and organisation both. Main purpose or motive of this action plan is to
accomplish the life goals of an individual by boosting and enhancing inner skills of an
individual. It include different types of the training and other developing programs so that three
main goals of an individual can be achieved. In university, the personal development plan has a
portfolio including a proof of the skill acquired over a particular time period. Whereas, in
professional development, individual's CV is included. Companies also ask their workers to take
part in different training and development programs to complete their PDP. It support an
individual to improve his existing performance at academic and organisational level. It is also
known as the development of talent, knowledge and skills that create and grab the available
growth opportunities. It is concerned with the current performance of a person for the
improvement. It is a never ending process that's last beingness long in individual's life. PDP
outline all the three goals of an individual, short term, medium term and ling term goals. All
these goals consist with a time limit for their wind-up. It make an individual more better and

different. At workplace, this plan is useful as it enhance the organisational as well as individual
productivity (Lin and Magnuson, 2018) . When an individual build their abilities, skill and
knowledge, then it improve the overall organisational productivity. When an individual is
growing in his vocation and processing his ability, can encouragement the possibilities of
available chance including responsibility and duty at workplace, increment in wages and salary
and many more. Thus, whole concept of the these plan is focused on an improvement of the
personal abilities and skills to to work efficiently (Fleming, Creedy and West, 2019) .

Theses objectives are refer to that aims that may be finish with in a short period of time
or in an upcoming life. This states aims that can be achieve by today itself, within days
and months. It must be finished with a year. These objectives are planned by an
individuals in regards to attain them as soon as possible. This creates an individuals vto
thought what they can act in current era or in an appropriate manner. This content are very
essential in a individual being as they are leading to high accomplishment in their life .
