Task One:
Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Personal development is defined as the activities which develops an individual
capability, enhance quality of life and helps in enduring concerns which are related to
development of individual which is done. It is the realization of dreams and
aspirations (Potapchuk, Makaruk and et.al., 2020). It is an important aspect as it
helps the individual to grow and develop at large scale.
Professional development is the process which aims to improve and increase
the capabilities which are mentioned and are creating value of the professional
career at large scale. Professional development is done through training and
educational opportunities at the workplace and this process is also followed by the
other individuals performing the job (Chaudhary, 2020). Professional development is
very important and this helps in knowing and understanding the individuals are
learning and are improving their way of development done on a professional level.
Description and discussion of the value of short-term goals
identifying at least 3 personal examples
The short form aims are done further. Each aim that fall under this category
aids in achieving and creating value of how effectively and in appropriate manner the
personal short term goals can be set. It is very important that the personal short term
goals are important are taking concern about the goals to be fulfilled in the future.
The short term goals are also framed as personal goals which are framed and are
concerning the aspect of how effectively and in appropriately there are concerns of
personal goals to be achieved by an individual (Raiden and King, 2021).
There are three main short term personal goals and this helps in addressing
that how the short term goals and objectives are achieved. These are –
Earning a new degree or certificate.
Making a website for self.
Learning a communication skill.
