Personal and professional development is really important for a successful life. A person should
focus on gaining different knowledge and values from others to develop the personal and
professional knowledge. This assignment demonstrates the importance of personal and
professional values. There are different factors which affect the personal development of an
individual. The personal and professional learning is really important for an individual who is
working in an HSC organization (Busse, et al. 2014). The person needs to set some goal or target
to enhance the learning skills. Personal growth is really important for enhancing the own
capabilities and skills. A personal evaluation is really important for knowing the current
situation of a person. This will also helpful in evaluating the future needs of a person. This
assignment also focuses on the impact of personal contribution in the growth of HSC
organization.
It can be said that the care workers and practitioners play an important role in the growth and
development of the organization (Olsen, 2015). They care about the needs and requirements of
the clients and patients and fulfil them according to their health problems. This assignment
demonstrates the different ways of maintaining a professional relationship with the other
employees in the organization which will be helpful in reducing the conflict in the HSC
organization (Kroll and Dussias, 2017).

INTRODUCTION
This report is based on the personal and professional development plan which has been
described in a conference (Brody and Hadar, 2015). According to the case, the learner needs to
create a development plan to evaluate the personal and professional values. It can be said that
the beliefs, culture and standards reflect the personal life of a person which impact the
professional development of a person.

PERSONAL VALUES MY PROCESS EFFECTS OF VALUES ON PRINCIPLES OF
SUPPORT IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
Equal rights As per my opinion, the organization should
provide equal rights to all employee. It will be
helpful in maintaining the good environment
in the workplace.
Diversity I always prefer workforce diversity because it
is really helpful in maintaining good relations
between the employees. I should treat all the
employees and patients in a proper way by
giving them comfort and peace.
Confidentiality Confidentiality is really important in the
health and social care organization because
there are many personal things which cannot
be disclosed in front of everyone.
Faith According to my faith is really important in
the HSC organization. the management
needs to give the best services and facilities

to the patients to gain the faith and loyalty.
Knowledge As per my opinion knowledge is the most
important factor in HSC because lack of
knowledge can be harmful to the life of
patients.
Integrity According to me, integrity is really important
for managing the professional life. I maintain
integrity in the workplace which is really
helpful in maintaining discipline.

professional when supporting service users
I am Non-vegetarian Being a part of the health and social care
organization, I have observed that some
strict Hindu Brahmin does not allow me to
touch them when they come for their health
treatment.
I prefer Nonveg food because I am Muslim Whatever my religion is, I always take equal
care of all my patients.
My culture taught me to treat every client
and patients equally
I do not support the discrimination. I always
treat all the patients equally who come for
the treatment.
I never get affected by the other culture I never influenced by any cultural background
of a person. My culture taught me to treat
everybody equally.
