It is often misunderstood that if a person is provided with effective health care,then, it is enough, but, a sick person also need social care in order to heal faster (Adams, 2007).

That's why, here comes the need of Health & Social Care Providers. Their duty in anorganisation is to provide effective care to people who need by making the process easier andenjoyable, rather than tolerable. It is very vital to understand various personal values andprinciples possess by these care providers in order to state the importance of their behaviour inan health & social care unit to implement the importance of their behaviour in healing a patient. TASK 11.1: Personal Values and Principles with the Principles of Support for Working in H&SCValues refers to as those principles which help business associates to take right decisions as wellas shows the difference between what is right and wrong. It also aid to business how to act invarious situations prevailing in the market. Whereas, principles are those beliefs, fundamentallaws, assumptions and doctrine which a organization adopts in their working premises asprinciples. Rights: Rights are legal, social and ethical principles of freedom. Every organization hastheir own rights as well as freedom to do anything they want.Diversity: Personal characteristics like, age, sexual orientation, nationality, gender etc.that trigger others to treat or behave with people as a member of a group rather then individuals. Respect: Respect is a positive feeling for someone elicited by their qualities, or abilities.Everyone in the society wants to treated with due respect. As well as employees working in anyorganization also should be treated with respect so that they stay for longer time duration inn thecompetitive world. Personal Values is what makes a person in context to how they behave and respond to asituation. These values plays a major role in the segment of Health & Social Care as a providermay be facing a lot of trouble but they cannot show it on their face as demanded by theirprofession. These values have a major impact on an individual in respect to Health & SocialCare. Principles refers to the ideologies of a person as in which they believe. For example,gravity, it is a natural occurrence, similarly, principles are natural phenomena as if a person liedto his friend, then, the friend will not trust his friend that's a natural law. Principles plays a vitalrole in this sector as if a provider will not have ethical principles, they will not be able to relatewith the pain or the care they need to do for that person(Belbin, 2004).

Personal Values and principles are two parts of a person, which are often get confusedwith but they are quite different. Personal values refers to qualities possessed by an individualwhereas Principles refers to rules or beliefs governing a person. Personal Values are the choice,which can be compromised if needed but a person never compromise with their principles. Principles Professional Achievements: NHS does not hire people with just a degree, they need staffwith professional frontier and achievements which make them easy to adapt in NHS andpatients feel they are in the right hands as they exit the gate of NHS when they are fullycured. Growth and development: It is very important for me to have a continuous growth anddevelopment in whatever I am doing and pursuing in order to grow and learn new thingsin order to achieve my goals and objectives. Positive ValuesPositive Approach: The most important requisite while working for NHS is to have apositive outlook for things. NHS needs staff that have a positive approach as it will themin the long run. Effective Communication: The communication skills plays a crucial role for theestablishment of an effective relationship between patients and NHS as it will help indecreasing the pain and make it tolerable for the patients.As a Dental Nurse in NHS England. The main role of my work does not limit with dentalpractice but involves various other departments as well. The personal values and principles I have observed in myself while working for NHS are:Empathetic: I have realised that I am very empathetic towards the other patients as ifthey are in pain, I am not able to see it and try to erase it as soon as possible. This is better forshort term but for the long run I need to establish a professional code of conduct in order to havea high scale graph.Personal Behaviour in workplace: I have managed to step aside by personal behaviourand reasons away in my workings as whatever I am feeling or stressing about does not show onmy work.
