Task One: The concept of personal and professional development The professional development consist of improving own personality in order facilitates own skill and knowledge towards job. It is the continuous process through which individual necessary skill gets updated in more effective way so that they can performthejobtaskineffectivemanner(Contrerasandet.al.,2020).The effectiveness towards the plan of personal and professional development assure appropriate knowledge regarding expertise knowledge pf career development. The personal professional developmentis crucial process that provide better career opportunity which include hard and soft skill. This will design proper layout of personal growth option in order to transform ability into working environment. The effective plan of personal and professional development contribute proper balance of life along with perfectionist tendencies. This improve proper structured of life with proper focus and concentration to enhance professional skill which is necessary to perform in job. Statement and discussion of the value of short term goals with 3 personal examples The short goals is consider as milestone of career journey so that individual can easily serve the purpose of its long term aim of life. This provide proper solution to the respective problem(King and et.al., 2020). Establishment of short term goals push the limit of individual to fulfill long term success. These types of goal will be complete within time OF 12 months. Developing short term goal will provide better and useful achievement towards professional aspiration. Through this individual can shift towards improvement and commitment towards advance level of skill and knowledge. Certificate completion- The completion certification of 6 months will refer as short term goals. This can be executed during the graduation programs. This will help to update more professional skill that is needed by individual in finding desirable job after completion of graduation. Communication- Skill of communication is useful in developing professional career due to its numerous opportunity. Learning of communication skill can be achieve within 12 months. Timemanagement-Thetimemanagementgoalcanbeachieveby scheduling appropriate work in urgent basis. These skill will increase ability of person to manage all required task which is essential in job. Statement and discussion of the value of medium term goalswith 3 personal examples The value of medium term goal can be succeed with proper sequence regarding short term goal that is why it is refer as their extension. The main purpose to build medium goals is to promote and support long tern goal. These type of goal 3
will be fulfill within time of 2 years. These are more significant as compare to short term goal. Example of medium goals- Accurate job- During graduation, each person plan goal to find suitable job in desirable company. Managing skill- The management of working skill enhance ability of person to build potential career advancement(Prodromou, 2018). This type of planning is refers as medium goal which improve performance of individual. Growth of career- When person gets confused in planning of career then they build this medium goal to identify better option of career development. This will improve skill of personal and professional life. Statement and discussion of the value of long term goals with 3 personal examples Thelongtermgoalsaddvaluablemeaningoflifeinordertoselecting appropriate job option after completion degree programs. These goals are essential to be achieved during the time between two to five years(McChesney, 2018). These goals are more hard to accomplishas it consume lost of time and patience for serving real purpose of long term goal. Example of long term goal are- Job position- This goal is refer as long term goal because it take lost of time in finding accurate job position which match with skill and ability to improve careerdevelopment.Longtermgoalisassociatedwiththeinterestof individual. This will improve working skill so that individual can work in more effective manner. Expertise knowledge-It will conclude expertise knowledge and skill related withparticular area of improvement in professional field. This will develop potential opportunity and improve work performance of individual in job. Technical skill- Technical skill are very time taking, which provide proper learning to develop career opportunity in technical area. This will reduce error ration while performing any technical work.
