Introduction
To have the intention of accomplishing the desired objective the organisation and
individuals are engaged in the education procedure to gather the task for the personal and
professional development defining an process. The self-confidence is developed in the
individual which offers him quality life with employment opportunities which is consider
personal development as an important aspect (Gaybullaevna, D.N. and Jonpulatovna, S.M.,
2021). The individual in the professional development gets the knowledge and information
from the handbook to become skilled in the required field by developing capabilities. The
research is grounded on the concept of personal and professional development with this
defining the different goals of the individual. The personal development plan is prepared and
various sources are evaluated.
Task1
Explanation of personal and professional development
In personal development the individual abilities and competencies is understand and
information is provided required by the person to enhance oneself. Through the personal
development the individual social status, quality life is enriched and self-awareness is
improved by including their interest. The professional development describes to procedure
where the individual skills are enhanced and improved by giving them proper training and
teaching from the expert coaches and mentors to work efficiently in the organisation for
future (Gobert, M., 2020). The organisation gets the highly skilled workforce by sustaining
the self-esteem of individual, the personal and professional development works together in
the required field by gaining the advanced qualification and experience.
Value of short term goals
The goals of short term are defined for the 3 to 4 months of short period describing
the planning. Through theses goals the medium terms are achieved and motivation is
provided (Gonyer, M.E., 2021).
Examples- To improve the communication ans writing skill for better interaction.
To learn different cultural different languages for building confidence.
By practising on various courses and internships in the motive to gain certificate.
Value of medium term goals
The objectives of the medium term goals are accomplished within the time period of

two to four years comprising of length period. It shows the route for the long term goals that
is to achieved in future. The efficient progress are made to achieve the long term destination.
Example- To get promotion in the multinational company for the higher post.
To have the increment in the salary within in a year by using the skills and capability.
In the reputed organisation gaining the management experience and decision making.
Value of long term goals
It defines the plan that has to be achieved in future after achieving the short and
medium term goals. The time frame of achieving the goals is between five to ten years or
more (Hamilton, N.W., 2021).
Examples- The objective is to have the own business of apparel.
To build the flat for renting.
To have own vehicle and home from the earned money.
Value of a Personal Development Plan
The personal development plan is in the written form on the paper describing the
document of planned deed for self reflection and improving the person objectives by defining
the information of personal and professional development that has to achieved in future. To
bring the employment opportunities the skills of the individual are encouraged (Hunter, I.,
2020).
