Conclusion
In regards to Kolb’s Cycle of Learning I have learnt certain things on an everyday
basis which has become an integral part. According to the Kolb’s learning Cycle (1984), the
learning process follows a cycle or pattern that is comprised of four stages. First being the
“Experience” where it is said that we learn everything out of the experiences we come across
on a daily basis. On a daily basis I have leant that I am good and fluent with my

communication. I have an apprentice of independency and capable of working in a group
environment. I have issues in confidence that needs to get fixed by a daily practice that I have
figured out in my career action plan. I also have to be more optimistic towards life. The
second stage says “Reflect” that means what experiences an individual faces gets reflected
into the thinking process of mind. Helping others have shaped my mindset of empathy. I have
also seen that I respect the opinion of others. Even if I do not agree with them but I do let
them speak because they also have the freedom to speak and voice their opinion. It is not
necessary to agree with everything otherwise that will mean I do not have any opinion of my
own. That is why I might not agree but I respect the opinion of others. The third stage in the
model is “Conceptualization” that means hypothesis of our experiences. I have opened a
business of mine after all the experiences I have gained because I think the experiences I had
previously has gave me some knowledge and confidence to start my own start up. The last
but not the least, fourth stage of the model talks about “Plan” that means to test the previous
stage we have to come up with a plan. For that I have made a career action plan where I have
jotted down how to be positive and gain confidence in my life. It will help in my business
too.
