my internship in hospitality and event industry, there are following skills on the basis of which I
have evaluated myself –
Professionalism – This means acting in a responsive and fair manner within all personal
and work activities. I think I am mature enough to tackle different issues which occur in
hospitality workplace.
Honesty and integrity – This is required within professionals as it provides ability for managing
corporate scandals which occur (Delaneuville, 2020). I think I am an honest and integrity person
who enjoys to work. I have never tried to do my work negatively.
Adaptability – The concept of adaptability is defined as openness for new ideas and
concepts for working independently or within a team. This is defined as ability for pivoting
between assignments and carrying out various projects and tasks. I think I am a very adaptive
person as I have always learned how to work in different business environment.
Problem solving – This is the most essential skill needed for managing different issues at
workplace. I have analysed that I am having good problem solving skills that allow me to
manage my work efficiently.
Dependability – I am a responsible contributor for my company. I am committed to success and
excellence at my work (Tan, 2018). I think this is helping me to manage different type of work
assigned to me properly.

Evaluate ways in which empathy and stress can be dealt with in a dynamic and fast moving
environment
Hospitality industry is regarded as the busiest industry because of their high number of
tourist and visitors. This industry need those people which handles extensive stress and work
load. This industry consists very heavy work load and provides stressful environment to their
employees because of tremendous increase in number of tourist (Olubiyo, 2021). I recommend
various suggestions and solution to overcome these situations such as proper meditation in
employees. It’s my personal experience that meditation is the best method to reduce stress from
someone's life. There are other methods which I suggest that there should be healthy relations
between employees of the organisation. I have analyses some points in my life that the employee
who has good relations with their clique feels positive at the time of stress full and empathy
situations because their work mates provides necessary support to deal with these undesirable
situations. There is one method which I personally used in my personal life and also suggest
many people that to promote social activities in hospitality organisation. Social activity such as
organised various office parties after regular interval of time which satisfy the need of change of
employees and also organised various activities in work place.
Demonstrate the ability to self-evaluate and work to set deadlines
It is essential for me to manage the self-evaluation and develop new skills which help me to
attain goals and objectives. While working as an intern in hospitality sector, I have analysed that
it is essential to complete my work on set deadlines (Plato, 2018). There are targets assigned to
me which I complete within time and I take help from all of my colleagues and seniors so that
there are no mistakes.

emotions by spending their time and energy on issues that are generated within the

Cultural: Culture within an organisation includes guidelines, structures, rules and
expectations of managers to interpret behaviours. Administrators of organisation
formulates rules and regulations within the workplace and expects in return that their
subordinates will follow those guidelines in a positive way. It is important to identify

as it impacts ability of an individual to perform and interact in a favourable behaviour. It
