PERSONAL STATEMENT WORKSHEETHobbies and InterestI have interest in reading articles about construction projects. Driving cars and playingfootball are my hobbies. I have interest and passion in architecture and art. As I have greatinterest in the construction projects that can help me in my engineering course as it can give mebenefits at the time of doing practicals. As I have interest in car driving that shows that I canhandle equipment and machinery well. I like to play football and I am playing this game sincemy childhood that shows that I have squad and loyal personality. I have sportsmanship so I neverloose hope in critical situations. Work experienceI have never worked as full-time employee for any organization as engineer but I havedone my internship in the care manufacturing company for three months. I was in the position ofexecutive engineer in the Toyota motor company. I had to assist my senior who was engaged inchecking quality of cars. I had required more concentration and communication skills so that Ican gain good experience and can develop my knowledge. This experience has given support inthe course and I got to know practical information about car manufacturing and its internalprocess.The main reason for choosing this particular course is that I like architecture and art.When I was 7-8 years old, I used spend time to draw buildings and bridges. I often missed myEnglish class while constructing small towns with roads, buildings, dams and rivers. As passionbreeds with time, so was the case with me. Engineering has various branches but my keeninterest lies in civil engineering. Throughout my schooling, I was engaged researching about my keen passion inconstruction. I did my primary education from New English school, Kuwait. With support of myteachers, I opted for Science stream which included Physics and Mathematics as core subjectsand completed secondary schooling from IGCSE Cambridge. I loved to read about newconstruction projects in newspapers and magazines and had intense interest in knowing about thebackground of civil engineers involved in those projects. It was quite exciting to know, many ofthose civil engineers had obtained their qualification from Leeds International Study Centrewhich lured me to the doors of this study centre. Presently, I am pursuing my civil engineeringfoundation from Leeds International study centre only.
