PERSONAL STATEMENT
Business Management facilitate to develop an understanding of efficiently running a
company by ensuring that they have effective planning, controlling, organising and monitoring
policies for their business operations. With the help of this subject better understanding of the
area related to market, customers, communication, technology, operations and many more can
efficiently be developed.
I am highly interested in business management course as the degree in the business
management will facilitate me in ensure better career in the business irrespective of the nature of
the sector or the industry. For this I want to enrol myself in XYZ University as is considered to
offer better education in this subject and organises various extracurricular activities that will
develop both theoretical as well as practical understanding of the aspects related to the business.
I am highly interested in being an entrepreneur and starting up my own business and for this I
need to develop better understanding of various aspects related to finance, marketing, supply
chain and other department so that all the decision making which is done by me are based upon
critical analysis of the situations I will face.
I have been working as a part time worker and during the serving period I try to develop
various personal leadership qualities. It is considered to be a life changing experience for me
because it facilitated me in motivating myself and to shape me into a disciplined person with
which I can ensure success of my business. Because my interest in this segment is high I
completed my secondary education in this field and taking admission in the university for the
same course will enable me to improve my team work skills, communication skills, presentation
skills that is considered crucial to be successful in any profession.
My interest in analysing the business and the situation which are prevailing within the
market motivates me to develop understanding of the related topics. In addition to this my
interest within changes that are taking place in the macro and micro environment attract me
towards extensive reading of the case studies and analysis of the business strategies because with
this I identify various actions and the implication of such actions on the organisation. But for
improving the understanding of these aspects I need to develop greater understanding of both
theoretical and practical aspects.
I have seen some of my friends who has been studying the same and this made me realise
that by entering into this course I can get theoretical knowledge which will further enhance my

practical applicability of such theoretical knowledge as per my experience from the part time job.
During this job I faced various challenges and all of them can efficiently be managed with the
learnings so developed in the course.
