PERSONAL STATEMENT
As a passionate gamer, this always been a passion to pursue the development of games
as profession and work for game developing corporation or, preferably, to operate my private
business. That's why I chose to pursue course in this area. Gaming has caught my curiosity
from early age. Due to this computer games have become my foremost hobby; but, it
doesn't include playing only computer games. I also write different reviews and tutorials
about games I always play as well as publish them on blogs like GameSpot. As enthusiast
gamer, I've always wanted to learn how games were made, and my dream is to develop a game
myself. Having studied this area, it comes to my attention that the development of a game
consists of many varying phases.
Moreover, like a hobby and dream, I am actively designing my own website. I possess
knowledge of scripting languages like CSS, javascript and HTML because of my diploma in
web-designing. Learning development of website is a great pleasure for me, because I go
through planning and design phases of my own website and go through scripting processes. I
also have background knowledge and experience with software, majorly Adobe-Flash,
Dreamweaver and and Photoshop.
In addition, I value participating in different extracurricular activities that are not directly
related to computers. For instance, I took a workshop in development & leadership and
awareness-raising events and orientation. I am presently taking a videoing and editing classes. I
do love volunteering and occupational skills. I previously served at half marathon in the city. I
was one of a group that was responsible for taking bags from the athletes before starting of race
including returning bags at end of the run. The backpacks had to sorted by competitor's
Identification number.
These events have helped me to improve interpersonal skills and also to meet different
people. This also strengthened my confidence level in interacting with individuals, and also
critical skills like effective communications. While at school, I looks ahead to become a student
leader and also participating in even more extra-curricular activities.
I have range of interests and I really like to discover different aspects including writing
fantasy novels, music equipment such as acoustic-guitar, as well as languages like Portuguese
and Spanish. Deep understanding in different fields will be quite useful to me at the university. I
appreciate reading and exploring a variety of subjects, as well as I believe that such skill of mine

will support me accomplish university and career objectives. Being optimistic and hard-working,
I aim to continue my game development business and concentrate on this objective throughout
the academic career.
