Personal Statement for Master of Law Degree

Personal statement
I have grown up in a place where seeing the crime around was enough to
stir humanity in me. I have always wanted to do something that would help
shape society the way I wanted to see it. I wouldn’t say that I knew right
from my childhood that being a lawyer was what I saw myself doing. That
was not the case. I just knew that I wanted to do something that would help
bring positive changes to the world. I know, they are high claims but I
believe I have the capability of attaining them.
This was one of the reasons that drove me to take up Law for my College
degree. I am currently doing my Graduation in Bachelor of Law (LLB) and
would love to expand my knowledge further. Eradicating crime isn’t
technically a one day job but I want to start early. I have personally
witnessed things around me that have driven me to take up this course even
more so.
Being enrolled under a Bachelor degree for Law in such a reputed college
was definitely a dream come true and I would like to extend that further. I
have always heard that lawyers never stop learning. Being the avid reader
and learner that I am, I want to enrich my knowledge in this and polish my
skills even more so.
I have worked hard to achieve my grades and don’t intend on doing
anything to jeopardize the goodwill I have till now. I am working along with
my professors to gain knowledge about the littlest of things to be able to
have a better outlook at the scenes unfolding. This has provided me with a
very wide spectrum of knowledge that I didn’t think was possible having.
Following the completion of my graduation, I want to boost my knowledge
even more so. This is the reason I am applying for the master of Law degree
in your reputed institution. Owing to the fact that your institution is one of
the best in the entire realm, it would be a privilege for me to be part of it.
Apart from my academics, I am also socially sound who likes to indulge in
the extra activities around. I have participated in some of the inter-college
competitions, representing my institution and it provides with me with
immense pride to state that I have definitely brought back glory to my class
and college.
Seeing so much injustice around, it is not even a question why I want myself
to establish as a reputed lawyer. The process has been very eventful for me
