INTRODUCTION
A Personal statement is a type of essay written by a candidate who is interested in
applying for a course at a college or university. Personal statement mainly includes the
background and interest areas of a student. The Educational institution takes personal statement
as an application and then on the basis of application, the institution decides the admission of the
interested candidate. This report includes personal statement of a candidate who is applying for
level 6 studies in business management.

Since my childhood, I have a key interest in business areas and business functions. I have
been always fascinated by various big companies and their level of working in the business
environment. I like to be a part of management in giant multinational companies like Mark and
Spencer, Walmart, Burberry, AstraZeneca etc. I have also completed my level 4 and level 5 with
good grades in business management.
Business organisation is my favourite subject as it contains an overview of structure of a
business as well as key functions which are required to run an organisation in an effective
manner. Business organisation subject also helps me in understanding different types of
functions performed by management in order to achieve efficiency in the working of a business
entity. I also like financial management in my studies, financial management is a good subject
for me as it provides information about how different companies maintains a proper and
systematic record of their financial transactions. I like financial management as it states the true
position of a business that where it stands in the market. It also helps in maintenance of assets
and liabilities in a business as well as helps in mentioning the amount of funds required to
maintain a business in the current financial year.
In my previous studies, I have also learned the importance of various sectors in an economy like
banking sector. The role of banking sector is vital in an economy as it fulfils all the financial
needs of the society in an economy. Banking sector also contributes to Gross domestic product of
a country and also contributes in national income of an economy. I understand that financial
activities in a country should be carried out with proper ethics in order to carry out financial
functions in ethical manner. I like to study every business subject in a practical manner, I also

like to study financial reports of the famous companies which they publish at the end of every
year.
I like to play various sports games so that I make myself fit for everyday in my life. I am
enthusiastic and opportunistic in my life and want to achieve tremendous success in academic
field. After completing my level 4 and 5, I further look for taking admission in level 6 for getting
a precise knowledge in the management field
