PERSONAL STATEMENT Why are you applying for your chosen course(s)? I am applying for the BA accounting and finance as it is my core interest area in which I have created base by studying in the stream. Why does this subject interest you? The subject is my interest area as I belong to family who has been doing business from years. I have seen my elders doing accounting and making financial plans for growth and expansion. It influenced me to become financial analyst as both accounting and finance play great role in business. It will help me in getting conceptual knowledge of the stream. Why do you think you’re suitable for the course(s)? Do you have any particular skills and experience that will help you to succeed on the course(s)? I have also engaged in business and handled various accounting practices and making of financial plans. It has developed my practical knowledge about the course which will help in better understanding things. Do your current or previous studies relate to the course(s) that you have chosen? If so, how? Yes, my previous studies were in the field of accounting and finance. It has always been my core interest area and I have completed my higher secondary education in accounting and finance stream. Have you taken part in any other activities that demonstrate your interest in the course(s)? I have always participated in accounting quiz and other competitive exams. I also teach students in my free time of accounts and finance of lower level. Skills and achievements Universities like to know the skills you have that will help you on the course, or generally with life at university, such as any accredited or non-accredited achievements. I have scored highest marks in accounting in my class. I have also handled my business and increased the market share by 2%. Make a list of your hobbies, interests and social activities. Then think about how they demonstrate your personality, skills and abilities. Try to link them to the skills and experience required for your course(s). Try to link any experience to skills or qualities related to the course. As I am having family business due to which I have worked always in my father's office only. I was given responsibility of monitoring the sales and analysed that investment in digital marketing will increase the sales and increased by sales by 10% in six months. Explain what you’ve been doing since leaving education, and provide additional evidence to support your application. If you’re not in full-time education, you should give details of any relevant work experience, paid or unpaid, and information about your current or previous employment. After leaving education I was been involved in working as accountant in London. I was also being involved in taking coaching class to primary school children. I provided them coaching at home. I worked accountant for almost 2 years and I have analysed that after leaving education, it was really hard o understand the practical aspects of finance. Tell universities why you want to study in the UK and why you think you can successfully complete a course that is taught in English. Say if some of your studies have been taught or examined in English and if you have taken part in any activities where you have used English outside of your studies. I want to study in United Kingdom as colleges and universities here are really good and by studying here I will be able to achieve my personal as well as professional goals and objectives. I have taken part in a strategic competition held in the office where I have worked. There I have used financial strategy and I also won that competition. If you know what you’d like to achieve after completing the course, explain how you want to use the knowledge and experience that you gain.
