routines and undoubtedly affects the behavior of people in their workplaces as it is mandatory for
them to socialize with others at work regardless of individual’s position or even the
responsibilities that they have.
Individuals and group behaviors influence performance of an organization. For an
organization to perform optimum it must practice full cooperation between the employees and
the managers as well. According to Woods et al. (2018) an Organization performance lies on
how the both parties are going to behave at work and this is where the organizational behavior
comes in. Frederick (2014, p.565) defines organizational behavior as procedural study of the
activities and the attitudes in which individuals express while in organizations
Organizations have matters that need to be addressed in order to ensure a smooth
management. Factors such as power, politics, conflicts as well as decision making are the vital
issues to be considered in this case. Power is critical because it is through it that mangers impacts
the employees to work towards the achievable goals.
Pettigrew (2014) suggest that politics involves attempts in which individuals strive for
control in unjust means, thus management of such is needed. In addition, individuals in
organizations have different goals in which they strive to achieve thus sequential conflicts may
arise among them. It is therefore essential for managers to come with strategies to oversee this
issue.

individuals. An Organization through its advisers should come up with logical ideas that will
help them make affirmative decisions that will improve the performance of the organization.

manage diversity in the workforce. Being a global issue, administrators have to work with
persons from different ethnic groups. This helps to create awareness as well as improve on in
skills. Basing on this concept, Hospitality and Tourism industry focus at proving an
understanding consumer behavior environment. This helps in management of aspects of tourist
behaviors.
Conclusion
People have different personalities; it is therefore necessary first to figure out one’s
personality so that one can socialize well with other people especially those with personalities
that clash with yours. At the work place, respect everyone’s personality and learn to adapt to it so
that you can build the best working environment.
