PART-A
Reflection
Reflective thinking refers to not only write future plans or what has done in the past. It
means to understand why you did and why it was important. It is essential to understand the
reason behind why you perform the activity. It is important for me to develop reflective thinking
as it helps in understanding situation better and identify its consequences. It means that one
should write down skills that are to be improved and make plans and strategies to improve. Only
writing down things is not the aim. Main purpose of reflective thinking is to understand certain
points. Reflective thinking can be improved by thinking alternative options that are available to
improve skills, use theories as evidence.
I want to improve my reflective thinking as I want to improve my skills for my future
career growth. All the skills are necessary for my future as in the organisation all skills are
required. When company recruit and select candidate they check that whether candidate is
having all the necessary skills or not.
When I was studying in college my communication skills were not so good and I feel
nervous talking with new people, then my friends and teachers help me in improving my
communication skill. I am good at writing and I learn things by noting down and practising. I am
working hard to improve my skills and enhancing my strengths. I started interacting with more
people in my college and outside the university, my teachers give me assignments which are I
the form of presentations and this help me in boosting my confidence. If I will improve my skills
then it will help me in future growth as I will not get nervous and interact with everyone
confidently. As I want to become HR manger so communication skills are must for a good
human resource manager. I have to recruit and select best candidates for organisation so if my
skills are not good then how I will take interview of other persons.
My decision making skills and problem solving are not good as I am not able to take
quick decisions. I need time to improve my skills because if I join any organisation and I have to
take quick decisions then I will not able to take and due to which lot of time will be wasted. I am
improving my skill by taking decisions on my own regarding my career. In college my teachers
give me situations and I have to take decisions from point of view of employer in an
organisation. I am also improving my problem solving skill by identifying what is problem and
