PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have selected this field offers learning potential and other ethical benefits. By ethical
benefits means that the tourism industry has scope of economic growth and provides job
opportunities. I have selected this field as I posses innovative skills and I have the ability to face
competition.
Presently I am perusing Masters in tourism and hospitality industry. In this course I am
studying about several operations in tourism industry and various services offered by them.
While studying the operational activities I founded that the skills required in this industry
matches with the skills I posses, it has developed more interest in me in gaining and exploring
knowledge about this field. I am very much passionate about travelling, I like communicating
with people, exploring their culture, I posses passion for learning languages and other interest
that I analysed that it could required in field of tourism industry. I believe that this career field
will provide me opportunity to reach my potential by providing me challenging environment.
The other thing that has encouraged me to select this field is that is its wide scope and its
growth. I believe that this course will assist me in my growth not as student but as an individual
and will provide me the platform to enhance my career path.(Stone. Padron. And et al. 2017)
This study will offer me the chance to study the further areas and scope in this field. The
factor that has inspired me to considered this course is that it provide wide selection of modules.
Tourism industry is only the industry which indulge change and diversification
opportunities(Ladkin and Kichuk 2017). I have to prepare myself to grow myself and my career
within this field.
