INTRODUCTION Resources are definedas such amenitiesthat can support the organisation for achieving all its different objectives behind the business operation. This report is based on the case study of Hilton Hotel. The organisation is based in US and currently operating hospitality organisation at more than 6000 locations worldwide. The organisation was established in the year 1919 by the founder Conrad Hilton. This report will project analysis of external factors in respect to the hotel. Effective recruitment and selection process will be discuss in this report. Principle factors affect culture, equality and diversity will also discuss in this report. Furthermore, report will project the brief analysis on performance management to ensure the best level of work efficiency at the hotel. Recommendations will also project to overcome different issues. Task 1. PESTEL Analysis of external environment Business environment is a sum of various internal and external factors affect the business of company. To assess different factors related to external business environment PESTEL Analysis is the tool that supports the brief assessment of the external factors. PESTEL Analysis PESTEL Analysis is a broad analytical tool support to assess all different factors part oftheexternalbusinessanalysis.Theanalysiscompriseswithfactorslikepolitical, economical, social, technological, environment and legal factors part of the external business environment. Political Factor:Political factor involve in business environment give emphasis to all different policies and strategies government in UK use to support the growth of hospitality sector. The industry carries an effective contribution in the overall economic development of UK. Hospitality sector is growing rapidly across the globe(PESTLE Analysis, 2020). Government in UK also look favourable towards the growth and development of the hotel industry that has supported the Hilton Hotel in expanding its business all across the UK. Economic Factor:Economic factor is among the crucial business environment factor influences the business of Hilton Hotel and all other hospitality organisations based in UK. This factor involve purchasing capacity of people in UK and all the potential travellers across
the globe, per capita income of people, economic growth across the globe, inflation rate and many other economic aspects. All these factors put a huge impact over the profitability and business growth of the Hilton Hotel. All factors part of the economic factor of business environment directly influences the business income of the company. In UK due to good economic condition the standard of living of peoples based in UK is also high that also allowed the Hilton Hotel to generate effective revenue from the people itself based in UK. Social Factor:Social factor involve in business environment comprises with factors like culture, tradition, life style of people based in UK, attitude of people, mindset and many other aspects. In UK people likes to go out with family and friends in hotel and restaurants to explore new things(PESTLE Analysis, 2020).People are very open minded that has provided great scope to Hilton Hotel to generate healthy revenues from the people based in UK itself. In UK travelling is also a part of life style which also allows Hilton Hotel to attract such travellers and make a profitable business out of it. Technological Factor:Technological factor involve all technological development and advancements in UK. Government has been very keen towards introducing and supporting the technological advancement in UK. This has supported Hilton Hotel to engage with different technologies like customer relationship management, social media and many other technologicaltools.Allthesefactorsassociatedwithtechnologicaldevelopmenthas enhanced the business growth of Hilton Hotel. Company use technology in all its operations such as sales, marketing, public relation and all other functions. Environment Factor:Environment factor is stated as the recent development in business environment. This factor gives emphasis to use of eco friendly products and services. Hilton Hotelalsosupporttodifferentsocialresponsibilitiesasapartofcorporatesocial responsibilitytomakebenefitsofenvironmentfactorpartofbusinessenvironment (Marketing Theories PESTLE Analysis, 2019).This has allowed company to make a faithful image of brand in market. Company could deliver its values and ethics to the people based in UK with the support of corporate social responsibility campaigns. Legal Factor:Legal factor involve different laws like equality, anti discrimination and many other legal regulations. In order to continue the business functions Hilton Hotel needs to cope up with all these laws. Taking up license to operate any new hotel in UK is also a part of legal factor involve in business environment.

The supportive approach of leaders in organisation has improved the scope of Hilton Hotel to sustain effective culture that can support equality in employees and diversity at workplace (Informa Limited, 2020). Hilton Hotel group operate its hotels at various destinations all across the globe. The diversity is also requirements attached with the hospitality organisation which drives the company to cater efficiently all different hospitality customers all across the globe. This has allowed Hilton Group to serve the best level of customer experience to all kinds of customers irrespective to their native places. Nature of business:Nature of business is another crucial factor influences the organisation policy towards sustaining equality and diversity in the organisation culture. This is another critical factor influences over the equality and diversity and especially for sustaining diversity in organisation.
