Topic: Net Neutrality
Stance: The internet is generally considered to be an open-sourced network. The initial idea for internet came from a
collective initiative starting with the scientists at CERN to communicate with each other. The prototype of the system
developed by the scientists at CERN was developed by other scientists as per the changing needs of the world. Meaning, the
internet is not governed by a member like in the sense of how a country is run by a president. With this, the user's are able to
be a part of whatever they choose on the internet. Blocking or throttling this is an ethical violation of a user’s freedom for
profit and like media corporations, ISP can look to push agendas and prioritize their partner's services by (throttling
websites/service) of others that choose not be an affiliate.
Subtopic 1:Decimate future entrepreneurs
The technology of internet is widely being used by the various entrepreneurs for the process of the business operations of
their business enterprise. The tool of internet is being used by the various entrepreneurs for the purpose of decimating the
business ideas on which their business is based (Kyung, Yoonmo & Weiai, 2015). It is generally seen that if that if the
people have adequate information about the products or the services being offered by a particular business enterprise then
the chances are higher that the customers are going to opt for the product or the services offered by the enterprise (Kyung,
Yoonmo & Weiai, 2015). Thus, it is with this particular objective that the various entrepreneurs try to decimate the business
idea which they have over the various internet sources with the inherent objective to further enhance the prospects of their
business.
Subtopic 2: Damage innovation
It is generally seen that an innovation after it has been originally innovated undergoes drastic changes once it has been
launched in the public market for the process of general public use. These changes undergone by the innovation are in
keeping with the general public needs as well as the demands for the innovation. Thus, this particular process is generally
viewed as damage to the original innovation which was originally being made by the scientists and the innovators. The same
process has happened with the technology of internet as well. For example, the tool of internet was originally developed
with the inherent objective to help the scientists at the CERN to communicate as well as use the data for the purpose of

research in a much effective manner. However, in the present times it is seen that the tool of internet is being used for
various constructive as well as non-constructive purposes which has given rise to much critical debate in the present times.
Therefore, it would be apt to say that the innovation of internet has undergone a kind of damage innovation in the present
times owing to the wide range of activities and purposes for which it is being used in the present times.
Subtopic 3: Network discrimination
The process of network discrimination occurs when particular members or individuals using a particular network had to face
discrimination on the score of various factors. For example, the various acts of online bullying are one of the commonly
encountered acts of discrimination which the individuals had to face over the diverse platforms of electronic media (Wu,
2003). Furthermore, it is generally seen that the discrimination also happens within a particular data network which is being
used by the individuals from the different parts of the world on the score of the network as well as data censorship norms or
legislations of the country in which the particular individual who is using the data or the network resides (Wu, 2003). This
has impacted the technology of internet in a significant manner in the recent times and it is a reflection of this particular fact
that the same kind of information is not available to all the individuals from every part of the world. Therefore, it would be
apt to say that there is a need for the implementation of various kinds of legislations as well as norms which would ensure
that equality is provided to the all the people who are using the innovation of internet from the diverse parts of the world.
Thesis Statement: Due to an immense amount of dependence on the technology of Internet, the removal of net neutrality
laws would decimate future entrepreneurs which would damage innovation and lead to network discrimination. However, on
the other hand, the enforcement of these regulations on the technology of internet is likely to help the technology of internet
in a significant manner by providing safer as well as better opportunities to the users from the different parts of the world.
