Executive summary
The report has analysed the effectiveness of the PEST analysis to build a charitable
housing project. St Mungo is a charitable housing project residing in London that cares
for the homeless people across the UK. Presently, they are motivated to develop a project
for homeless people. Thus, they are focusing to analyse the political, economic, social
and technological scenario of Lewisham to authenticate the future of their project. The
demographical factors, local administrative issues, undeveloped political, situation, poor
economic condition, financial relationship and financial barriers can be considered as the
key factors to be analysed in this discussion. The effectiveness of the Clinical
Commission Group has also been considered as one of the integral parts of the study.
Deprivation has been identified as the main economic barrier for the homeless population
that has been resolved in the study with proper financial resolution and application of
updated technology. The study can be helpful to provide information to the St Mungo’s

Introduction
The PEST analysis is considered to be one of the most important tools to understand the
political, economic, social and technological scenario of the target area. It has a
considerable impact on the decision-making process of the organisation PEST analysis
will be analysed in this study to explore St Mungo’s upcoming venture of developing
charity housing. St Mungo is a charitable organisation of the UK who works for the
homeless people. It also provides advocacy that has a significant impact on the policy
makers to formulate suitable policies for the homeless people. Moreover, they tend to
organise community awareness program to support the homeless people around the UK.
The study will explore the initiative of the St Mungo’s organisation to develop the
