Figure1Recurrent Seizures Source: (Recurrent Seizures,2014) Assessing Fran current situation Fran who is a 21-year-old female student is been suffering from recurrent seizures because of some unknown drugs, she has consumed in a party 6 months ago. Patient who are been suffering from recurrent seizures can go through the problem of behaviouralchangesandcanalsobeconscious.Franexperiencedthelossof consciousness with muscle jerking and sensory disturbances. (Akcay,Karadag, & Tunc, (2016). It has also been analysed that Fran was diagnosed withatrial fibrillation. It is a disease when abnormal heart rhythm occurs when electrical impulses fire off from different places in atria. Patientsufferingfromthisdisordercanfaceshortnessinbreath,dizzinessand consciousness. It has also been analysed that Fran was unable to concentrate in class. Figure2Epilepsy Source: (Recurrent seizures,2013) Assessment of Fran medications to improve her quality of life Fran is suffering from recurrent seizures because of some unknown drugs she has consumed in a dance party. In order to overcome this medication, health care professionals of patients have provided her with some medications. Her medication includes Lamotrigine 50 mg OD which is been given to treat partial seizures and generalized seizures including tonic-colonic seizures. This medication is also used to cure the behavioural changes that can be seen during the disorder like epilepsy. This medicine can assist Fran in enhancing her health outcome (Chowdhury, Khatavkar & Samuel, (2017). Another medicine that has been prescribed to Fran is Phenytoin 50 mg bd. This drug basically helps in reducing the seizure activity in brain. It can also be used to treat the irregular heartbeats that can be seen in the disease such as atrial fibrillation. Health care professional of Fran also prescribed her Verapamil80 mg bd which is basically consumed to cure high blood pressure. Verapamil belongs to a class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. This drug can assist Fran in enhancing the health outcome of Fran. Patient also consumed Warfarin 2mg OD. This medicine is basically usedforreducing the risk of developing blood clot that can result in disorder like atrial fibrillation. Enhancing Fran health and quality of life Health care professional of Fran has prescribed her various medications that can assist her in enhancing its health outcome and quality of life. Patient is being suffering from recurrent seizures and behavioural changes. Nurse has prescribed her Lamotrigine 50 mg OD that can be consumed by her in order to cure epilepsy. (Ng & et.al., (2016). People with epilepsy can experience reduced access to health and life insurance, a withholding of the opportunity to obtain a driving license or educational opportunities, and barriers to enter particular occupations, among other limitations. So after consuming these medications the quality of life of Fran will improve and she will also be able to live her life normally without any close monitoring. CONCLUSION From the above study it has been summarised that Fran has suffered from seizure, mood swings and depression because of some unknown drugs. Various medications such as Lamotrigine 50 has been taken by her, in order to overcome the problem of seizure and epilepsy.
