INTRODUCTION
It is very important to analyse the overall performance of project activities in order to
conduct task and activities in better and effective manner (Baldwin, 2016). This report includes
critical reflection on the project based on global and cross cultural marketing. In this different
elements which was strength and weakness are properly evaluated. This will help in analyse all
those area in which improvement is required. Different methods that is used in project and
learning from it is identified properly.
MAIN BODY
This report was based on global and cross cultural marketing which is a vast topic that
includes different methods and approaches. Through this project I have analyse that marketing is
one of the crucial component of organisation that helps in increasing profits and sales of
business. This report is based on Hennes and Mauritz AB company that is one of the leading
brand that is offering its products and services to large market area. This organisation was
developed in 1947 year and founder of this organisation was Eriling Persson. In this report
situation in which H&M company is operating its products and services are clearly identified.
There are various difficult and complex situation through which respective company have to go
through in order to achieve set goals and objectives (Zambon and Dumay, 2016). I have
analysed that it is crucial for multinational organisation to effectively analyse and evaluated
different situations. This will help in taking correct and appropriate decision for growth and
development of organisation. In this I have used different models and framework in order to
identify the competencies and performance of organisations. Through this, I have identified all
those factors that is affecting performance of H&M company in market area.
Different methods used in project report
There are different methods that is supportive in collecting and analysing data in effective
manner. This methods of data collection is supportive in gaining better understanding about topic
as well as taking corrective measures. The major methods that is includes in this project are
primary and secondary method. I have used primary method of collecting direct and appropriate
information. While conducting this report I have communicate with employees of H&M
company as well as its customers. This is supportive in gaining better information and

understanding about the topic. There are various sources that is included in primary method such
as interview, focus group, survey questions and so on (Fook, 2017). In this is have used survey
questionnaire method in order to collect view points and information about H&M company and
its products. Where as secondary method I have collected information from online sources,
internet, books and journals as well as other business documents. This is comparative easy and
less time consuming methods to identify and analyse data. In this report I have majorly used
information through blogs and various other articles. This is help full in gaining better
understanding about the topic for decision making process. Both of these two methods are very
supportive in gaining better knowledge and data about the global and cross cultural marketing
that can be used by H&M company.
Strength
While conducting this project I have identified different skills and qualities that is
supportive in attaining set objectives. It is essential to analyse strength as this helps me in
conducting task and activities in better and effective manner (Liu, 2015). My major strengths that
is identified through this research project was communication skill and leadership skills.
Communication skill refer as the ability of a person through which they can communicate and
convey their thoughts in effective manner. I have strong communication skill that is supportive
in commanding and convening other team member. My communication skill will lead to
maximize my performance I because of this I was able to communicate with other employees
and customers in effective manner. I have good leadership skill that has helped me in guiding
and directing other team member in effective manner. Leadership skill is supportive in
influencing team member to conduct task of project in effective manner. Due to both of these
skills I was able to guide and direct employees in effective manner. As a leader it is my
responsibility to develop strong relationship with other team member so that they follow my
command in conduct task in required manner.
Weakness
There are some of my weakness that is affecting my overall productively and
performance. It is crucial to analyse weakness in order to improve it and perform task in
effective manner. The major weakness that is identified are through this project are time
management and technical skill. Time management skill refer as the capabilities through which
an individual can manage and complete task with in set time frame. Lack of time management

skill will lead to affect the whole performance and delay in completion of research project. I
have determined that technical skills are very important as this will help in completion of project
task in effectual manner. I have lack of technical skill and knowledge which is affecting the
overall performance of research project. Lack of time management and technical skill will lead
to have impact on effective completion in better and required manner (Baldwin, 2016). It is
important to correctly manage these skills and overcome my weakness in order to attain set
objectives.
Issues and challenges
There are various issues and challenges that occur while performing this research report.
It is crucial to manage all of the issues and challenges that appear in this project so that the set
objective of project can be timely accomplished. The major issues that in includes in this project
was related to time management, financial resources and effectiveness of team member. Due to
less time management skill I was not able to properly manage all task and activities in better
manner. This will lead to delay in completion of task and activities of project which hamper the
whole project. There are less fund provided for completion of this project which affect the
completion of task. Funds and financial resources are crucial to timely completion of project
activities (Winchester and Browning, 2015). Lack and inappropriate funds affect the quality of
research and this will have negative impact on outcomes. Ineffectiveness and lack of capabilities
of employees will have impact on quality of work. Employees will lack of skills will not be able
to conduct task and activities in required manner.
Overcome methods
It is crucial to overcome these issues and challenges ineffective manner as this will help
in timely achievement of set goals and objectives. I have analysed various methods and way in
order to overcome these issues. It is important to improve the areas in which I am weak so that I
can perform activities of project in better manner. I have analysed that technical skills and
capabilities can be improve my taking coaching. I has used this method for enhancing my
technical skills so that is can accurately perform in next project. In order to deal with the
financial issues and overcome challenges that occur due to lack of funds I have communicated
with my senior person to effectively manage this issue. For managing ineffectiveness of
employees I have used training and development methods (Fook, 2016). So that I can improve

the capabilities of employees. Training and development method is an effective way for
enhancing the performance of team member to conduct task activities in required manner.
Finding
As per the above critically analysis and identification of global and cross cultural
marketing. It has been determined that there are different factors that will affect the performance
of organisation that is operating business activities in different part of the globe. It is crucial to
analyse and evaluate the different factors that has direct or indirect impact on performance of
business. From this report it has been identified that there are different skills and capabilities of
an individual will have impact on data collection and completion of project report (Welsh and
Dehler, 2013). It is important for researcher to use correct and accurate method for collecting
data and important information. It is important to take corrective measure for overcoming with
the issues that is affecting the whole performance of project. By improving skills and capabilities
researcher will be able to conducting future task and activities in better manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that it is important to analyse all those
elements that is supportive in conducting research project as well as gaining information about
the topic. Through this individual strength and weakness can be clearly identity that have impact
on conducting research. There are various methods that can be used for gather information and
important data as this will support in better decision making. There are different issues that will
affect smooth performance of research and it is essential to identify innovative way to deal or
overcome with these challenges.
