Statement of Objectives:
Here for the PHD course I have chosen the Cyber Security. My undergraduate degree is
actually with the information system but I have chosen the Cyber Security in this case as I am
very much passionate with it. Currently there are various of issues with the computer security
and the impact of this is very much negative on the society. Through the specialization in the
Cyber Security I will be able to contribute in the cyber security aspects which will secure my
society from various type of online attacks. My actual aim is digitalizing the entire society as it
save lot of time of the people and will create many job opportunities, but for that providing
proper security is the main requirement and for that I want to gain more knowledge in the field of
cyber security. I have done my graduation degree from American University of Nigeria in
Information System and I have done my masters from University of Wollongong, Australia in
Information Technology Management. I have certain work experiences also which I think can
help me in my cyber security courses. Initially I have worked as a system administrator at
Federal Capital Development Authority. Moving from that I was in the technical support in
Colliers International. Currently I am working as an IT specialist in Light-In-Bottle
Technologies. I have always interested to work with cyber security aspects and for that I have
successfully completed a professional course in UK from the QA limited organization. The
course was regarding “The Art of Hacking”. In this course first I have learned about
infrastructure hacking and after that I have learned about web hacking. From these classes I have
become more interested in the cyber security field and looking for a great future in the field of
cyber security.
