Introduction/ Background
The Statement of Work (SOW) is based on PHL Company, an Australian construction
company which is operated to enhance marketing as well as customer services. It is involved
with an approach to win new project related clients as well as gain of market shares. The project
work is based on website redevelopment project for PHL with updated website of the company is
www.pashendale.weebly.com. The main purpose of this project is building new website rich into
building developments, testimonials of the clients, network platform as well as company related
information (Meredith, Mantel Jr, & Shafer, 2017). With development of the website, PHL
should become close to their clients for developing the construction related solutions. The
website can also facilitate delivery to the clients based on client’s feedback as well as lead to
improve over the customer interaction process. The start date of the project is 6th September,
2019 while it is completed by 18th December, 2019. The total estimated cost for the development
project is $2, 65,000 consisting of planning, definition and design, implementation and closure
project phases.
The project is based on providing a scope for the project work which is expected by the
project manager to accomplish as result of the project plan. The list of the project deliverables as

well as project tasks are presented in work requirements sections so that it can highlight on the
activities which are required to finish the project on scheduled timeframe and estimated budget
plan. The project milestones are also presented in this paper so that the entire project phases with
its start and finish time is identified by the project team members. The pricing strategy is also
provided to complete the new website redevelopment work (Harrison & Lock, 2017). Finally,
acceptance criteria are identified to include the factors required to complete and accepted by the
project manager and project sponsor.
Project Scope
The scope of this project work is including with planning, execution, implementation as
well as training for new website. The website designer contractor is being selected by the
company, PHL for performing work which make sure that it has proper project resources to
design, build, test as well as implement of new website and staffs to provide training to
personnel’s of PHL. Each of the project tasks are to be performed by website design contractor.
The new website contains features such as it can be accessible from any of the browser, secured
as well as user friendly. It is ease of use. The application forms for current approval of the
project plan are made available (Kerzner, 2018). The users can able to request and receive of the
project approval, make payments and arrange for the documentation of project deliverables.
The deliverables for the project plan are based on functional website allowed the users to
access at convenience which is 24*7 available, user documentation, training of the staffs, and
support in addition to website maintenance documentation. The in-scope of this project plan is to
develop of baseline project plan for the execution phase of this particular project work. The
website designer conducts meetings with the core project team members as well as stakeholders.

There will be develop of three persons those are representing the target audiences those should
use the website (Girard & Girard, 2015). Web strategy report is developed to recap planning
phase of project, offered with creative strategy for new website as well as technical
recommendations to approach integration to the website redevelopment work.
The out of scope of this project is that it is not included with any work on internet intranet
site of PHL. There is no conducting of usability test on the developed website with suggested
adjustments as well as refinements to the project work. There is technical training to train the
personnel’s of PHL so that they can receive technical training and prepare a document as
compared to training. There is creating integrated website so that the plan is consolidated as well
as consistent images (Silvius & Schipper, 2015). It will lead to increase into visibility of the
construction service options. There is ensured of training as well as technical support to the
project team members for maintaining the website redevelopment work.
The project deliverables as well as tasks are presented into the work requirements section
so that the project team members should understand the project activities which are required to
complete the work on scheduled time.

Acceptance Criteria
The acceptance of project deliverables are defined as well as understood by the parties.
Following are list of the criteria based on which PHL should accept the project deliverables
resulted from the statement of work such as:
i. It should require for the website development team to recognize user story which is
required as reference of the functionality of the product. The user story is considered as
an initial objective towards software development (Verzuh, 2015). Therefore, the project
team can get access to the website redevelopment progress work.
ii. There is required a strong relationship as well as coordination between client plus
development team as the client should have higher level of expectations from the project
team. The project team can get required scenarios of website redevelopment processes as
well as final product is needed.
iii. Before the website is started to develop, project planning as well as estimation of budget,
time is required (Kerzner, 2017). The project tasks are to be budgeted properly and
project tasks are assigned to the project team on time.
