INTRODUCTION
Health of a individual is not affected by the food he or she eat but is affect by varuious
elements or determinants exist in the environment in which he live. Present report is based on the
topic like how various elements exist in a environment affect health status of an individual.
Further different approaches that could be used for improve health status of individuals is also
described in this report. A image is taken under this report and si mention in thuis how various
factor contribute towards health of an individual. Safety, effectiveness and timeliness are the
main three approaches which can be used by school to maintain and contribute in health of kids.
Overall various determinants that contribute in health of an individual is all mention in this
report.

There are various elements that affect the health of people. Whether individuals are
healthy or not is largely determined by circumstances and environment in which they live
(Wysocki and Lynch, 2017). Various factors such as place where an individual live, his
relationship with its friends and many factors are there which are consider with health of an
individual and impact it.

 Economic environment
 Physical environment
 Characteristics of an individual
Environment in which people live play a big role in determining their well-being. This is
not in the control of individuals to control these determinants. Main factors which determine the
health of an individual include: Social and income status: High income and social status of an individual are directly
linked with their better health (Graves-Brown, Harrison and Piccini, 2013). More the gap
between a rich and poor more there will be difference in their health. Education level: Low education level of a person is linked with poor health while, higher
education is directly related with good health of an individual.

 Physical environment: Clean air, safe water and positive environment; all contribute a
lot in maintaining the health of an individual. From the above picture, it can be seen that
physical environment is very good and clean and which is contributing in maintaining the
health of kids. Social support networks: Support from friends, families and communities is linked to
better health. Traditions, customs and beliefs of family members largely affect the health
of an individual. Genetics: Healthy diet leads to positive health of a person and vice versa. Health services: Use of health services that prevent an individual from disease also affect
his health.
 Gender: Both women and men suffer from various type of diseases in their different
stages of life.
All these are the main determinants which affect and contribute a lot in maintaining well-
being of an individual. All these should be considered by schools so that they can contribute
positively in maintaining the health of children.

soft, calm and supporting which also affect health of kids. Main element in the image is its
physical environment which is very neat, clean and fresh. Further positive attitude of teacher
towards kids is also contribute in good health of kids (Pieterse and Simone, 2013). Teacher is
positively encouraging children to learn new things which increases their confidence level and
put high impact on their health. Overall, all positive determinants of image contribute towards
keeping the well-being of kids.
2. Three approaches that could be used to improve health status
Poor health can't be just explain by basic germs and genes. It is much more complex and
include the circumstances in which an individual live, its cultural characteristics and many more.
All these factors largely influence the chances of an individual to live a healthy life (An
Integrated Approach to Improve health, 2017). Three approaches which can be used for
improving health status include following: Safety: Safety of kids during the time they play or learn new things in school must be
ensured by teachers. For this, all activities of children must be accessed by their teachers.
Further standardised methods can be used by teachers to teach children about how to

behave in school so that they can be healthy. Further, effective methods must be used by
teacher to ensure safety of children during their school hours. All necessary and effective
tools must be used by schools to maintain safety of children. Proper guidelines must be
communicated to everyone so that everyone can do their part in case of emergency. Effectiveness: It means that effective and best methods must be used by teachers and
management of school to ensure safety of children (Caple and Knox, 2012). An effective
technique avoid both under-use and overuse of methods. Application of standard methods
is not enough but effective use of those is also necessary to maintain health of children.
 Timeliness and equity: Time is one of the important factors which largely affect the type
of service delivered to individual. It is necessary that all guidelines related with health of
children should be timely communicated to them so that they can contribute a lot in
maintaining their health. If an incident take place at school than effective service must be
deliver to kid at time so that his health can be maintain properly. . Further all children
must be treated equally and they should be not be treated on the basis of their colour,
gender and any other element. Differences in treatments put a huge impact on the health
of individuals. So right treatment should be given to an individual to maintain his or her
health.
CONCLUSION
From the above information, it can be concluded that various determinants that exist in
environment in which an individual live largely affect his or her health. Education, gender
social status are the main elements which affect health of a person. High social status and
education level of individual are link with its positive health and vice versa. Safety, effectiveness
and timeliness are the three approaches which can be used by a schools to ensure and maintain
safety of children and teachers.
