I had developed a model ofSSVT “(Station Service voltage Transformer)” that can be used as power source for the supplyof electricity of electricity to the rural areas from high voltage transmission grid. This model canbe used as a mini-substation that can be utilized for stepping down the high voltage receivedfrom the grids and supply low or medium voltage supply to the rural community without extraexpenses or investments. I designed the model in way that it can be used for reducing the cost to20% as that of the traditional substations. I was focused towards delivering a product that can beutilized for enhancing the livelihood of the population living in the rural areas and provide thema better lifestyle.

CE 1.2.2 Objectives developed for the projectI considered to take the command in my hand and developed the following goals andobjectives for accomplishing the constraints of the project:To develop an effective power source for rural areasTo establish SSVT between the power grid and village usersTo enhance the livelihood the rural community and thus, contribute in thedevelopment of my countryTo manage the team members utilizing proper leadership and management skillsTo manage the budget very less in manner to be applicable for the applicationCE 1.2.3 My area of workI was assigning the roles to the team members as the project was of no use if theinfrastructure setup had not been delivered. I had to design the model of the project that can beutilised in the real world application and could be executed in an effective and efficient manner. Ihad to manage the financial constraint as the designed model could be setup near every ruralcommunities in the country and the first objective was to present a cost effective solution for thetransmission. I had simply replaced the direct connection between the grid and the villages with asubstation of the SSVT set up that can be used as a step down transformer for the transmission ofpower to the rural community. I had identified that this infrastructure can be a single solution forall the identified problems in the electricity transmission for the rural communities.
