AI Summary
This report, titled "Pilot training program success potential," examines the effectiveness of different pilot training programs, specifically comparing Part 61 and Part 141 training. The study employs an exploratory design to investigate the impact of training methods on pilot success, considering factors such as confidence levels and flying skills. The research includes a literature review and utilizes a survey instrument to gather data from current and former student pilots. The methodology involves stratified random sampling to collect data on independent variables such as preflight training and program interaction and dependent variables like pilot outcomes and efficiency. Data analysis methods include qualitative and quantitative approaches, using a t-test to identify statistical differences between the two training programs. The report aims to determine if there is a significant difference in pilot success between Part 61 and Part 141 training, addressing the research question of whether elements of flight training program engagement are the determining factors that translate to the success of a pilot program.

Introduction
The title of research report is “Pilot training program success potential”, the discussion
will made on describing the study design, population, sampling method, variables and data
collection methods which will be used in conducting the study.
Study Design
The aim of the study is to understand the “whether there is significant difference in the
success of pilots with part 61 training in the aviation industry in comparison to the pilot with part
141 training”. The null hypothesis of the present study describes that there is no statistically
significant difference present in the results achieved from part 61 training or through part 141
training program. The alternative hypothesis revealed that part 141 training program is highly not
efficient for decreasing the success of the program. These hypothesis describes that there can be
or cannot be differences in the outcomes after being in the training sessions and programs.
The present study will be exploratory it is because not much of the study is conducted to
understand the success potential of the pilot training program. This research design is effective it
is because this provides the information regarding the behavior of the individuals or the trainees
after being in the training program which includes that it provides knowledge about the
confidence level, flying skills etc (Newhart & Patten, 2013). Through this I can explore the
information regarding the success of the pilot to being in part 61 training program rather than
being in the part 141 training program. Further, it will provide clear information about the
achievements and training program which succeed the pilots in the real world environment.
The data will be collected about the different training program that is part 61 training and
part 141and level of outcomes pilot received through indulging in the activity. The data can be
collected by adopting both qualitative and quantitative method in which opinions of the
respondents is also taken into consideration. The both methods are selected because it leads in
increasing validity and reliability of the information and support me to achieve the objective of
conducting the research (Wetmore, Lu, & Bos, 2008). The investigation of the data will be done

through using specific method so that accurate results regarding the training outcomes will be
achieved.
Population and sample
The population which all the selected for the present study will be student pilots the data
will be collected by including all the pilots in the several different training programs. These are
selected because it describe that they will provide complete information about the outcomes and
efficiency which they received by involving in both part 61 training and 141 training. Further,
the adequate information will be gathered through including present and former students in the
study so that they can be in different program of training.
The information gathering is done through using stratified random sampling technique
that is by selecting respondents on random basis so that each and every respondent gets equal
chance in give response regarding the desired subject matter. However, this sampling technique
is effective because precision about the study is raised through taking the random responses and
sample by different sub groups (Caligan, 2012). This leads in providing different perception of
the diverse groups and become clear to define the statistically significant difference in both
training. The selection of the sampling technique is based on the respondents it is because it will
be highly effective to include different groups of former students about part 61 as well as 141
training. In this type of sampling technique the respondents share different attributes,
characteristics and behavior, this leads in saving the time while conducting the research
(Benbassat, 2005).
Variables and measures
The independent variables of the study are “preflight training evaluation” as well as
“interaction” which include in different training program. Further, the factors include “structured
flight training program”, “exposure of the aviation environment”, “raising the knowledge of
flight training” as well as “respective parties’ commitment towards the flight training program”.
The dependent variable in which the entire study is based is the “results, outcomes and efficiency
of the pilot training program”. The variables are based on the hypothesis so that statistically
differences between the both programs with outcomes will be recorded.

The variables are measured through using both qualitative and quantitative method it is
because the present study is based on exploring the outcomes which is received to pilot while
involving the structured programs. It also leads in providing information about the aviation
which respondents have. The analysis of the data is done through including the sub-groups and
individuals in two programs. This leads in providing complete information that is perception,
attitudes and behavior of the sub-groups and individuals so that the accurate results will be
achieved (Mark, 2019). Further, the variables are measured by using statistical testing method it
is because the results received from the data is justified and valid.
Data collection methods
The data collection is done through adopting questionnaire method that is nominal
program is used to take the responses from the former and present students. In this various
questions were asked from the respondents regarding the subject matter. In this study primary
method is adopted by me this support in providing opinions of each respondent which all are
involved in the study. The questions of the study is developed by including both independent and
dependent variables so that information is received about the outcomes which former students
achieved through including in the two programs.
Data analysis methods
The data analysis is done by including current as well as former student’s pilot in the
study of various programs and information gathering is done through taking the survey from
different respondents. The reliability and accuracy of the information is based by selecting the
soloed aircraft, the data gathering is done by including respondents in more than one categories
and program that is present study is focused on two training program which include part-61
training program and part-141 training program. For the qualitative analysis, case study research
method is used it is because it leads in providing information about the external factors.
The t-test testing method is used in analyzing the information that is retrieving the
information about the two groups. This method is used because this leads in providing
information about the repeated measurements on the matching subject area (Thomas, 2009). The
matching subject area includes all the independent variables that is structured programs, preflight
