A business plan is a document that is written to give a blueprint of a particular burgeoning
business. This is very important as it gives you a complete picture of what you plan to do and the
resources that you will require to be successful with the enterprise you wish to undertake.
Aforementioned, business plan serves so many functions that work together to achieve one
common goal of fulfilling all the objectives intended to be achieved.
PRODUCTION AND MANUFACTURING
The management of the suppliers should be put on the forefront so that a close relationship is
maintained (Brueller, 2019). This means that the proprietor should come up with best approaches
to manage the team involved in production and manufacturing. The teams’ needs to feel
motivated and appreciated in all what they do in their daily operations.
SUPPLIERS
Where business enterprises have a lasting relationship with their suppliers, it acts as a source of
good lasting relations. Once the business is able to secure a lasting relationship with the
suppliers, it’s always guaranteed to get the best quality services or goods. The below points
should be put in consideration when deciding on ways to deal with your suppliers:
Ensuring that all the account managers related to the suppliers is reachable and can also
contact you with ease whenever they have any query.
Understand suppliers’ processes that may give you more opportunities in the market. This
may involve the visiting to your suppliers and see whether there are some technology or
best practices you can borrow from them (Gertler, 2017).

Ensure there is trust from your suppliers who may continue to work and provide best and
quality services to you (Poppo, 2016).
There are also other ways that can be used to establish lasting relationships with the suppliers.
This may involve the use of the latest technology to reach out to them and find out how they are
doing. The collaboration would be in form of use of emails to communicate to them and other
social media platforms.
It’s also important that one comes up with the service level agreements (SLA) that normally
shows that you re professional. It also provides information on the service or the goods that are
delivered by the suppliers and at what level.SLA not only protect the business enterprise but also
the supplier as this contractual agreement cannot be changed overnight or on ad hoc basis. A
consultation must be made between the two parties.
LOGISTICS
When talking about this business function, more emphasis will be put on warehousing, transport
and protection/safety. Warehouse is one of the key components in the logistics section
(Terziev,2018).The area has really expanded currently and areas that comprise storage, labeling,
coding of goods also falls under warehousing. This means that there are several activities that
will take place in the warehouse. This will depend on each business enterprise but it’s important
to come up with specific policies and rules. This will include rules like health and safety etc.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Customer service is very paramount in any business set up. The business enterprise is supposed
to be able to prevent itself from the burnout. Many businesses have taken even more than ten
years to build a good reputation but it may take few minutes to ruin everything and bring
