1 EARLY COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT Plan to achieve the goal The schedule that have been planned needs a complete makeover in order to complete the same. As there is no extra budget so not extra resources can be brought into complete the project earlier than the stated deadline. Dependencies of the activities are to be reduced in case the project is to be completed before the scheduled time. Another major activity that can be performed is by removing the lags that were initially considered while planning the project. The very 1ststep that is to be taken is that rescheduling of the project is to be performed. As it is seen that while performing the planning of a schedule a separate lag time for each activity is kept under consideration. Although the lag time of each activity is very low. However if the lag time of all the activities are considered a significant time can be gained (Lamas & Demeulemeester 2016). This is the excess time that is to be axed off. Axing off of the lag times and making the schedule precise will be acting to be beneficial in completing the entire project faster and complete the same within the dead. This will be acting as a major boost in reducing the time scale of completion of the project in a shorter span. Again it can be said that there are presence of critical path in the project. In case the lags that were kept for the activities are removed, lags present in the critical path due to the presence of those activities will be eliminated as well. In this case there will be no alteration in the cost that will be incurred (Kannimuthu et al, 2019). Neither the workers will be required to perform over tome nor will the risk of the process increase. Each and every aspect of the project will be constant but the time. Only the time that will be required for completion of the project will be getting reduced (Shen et al, 2015). The sole issue that might arise in this approach is that the accuracy of the work needs to be on top at every moment. There will be no scope of error in this event. In case any errors occur the entire plan is ought to fail.
2 EARLY COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT Another approach that can be taken is reducing the dependency of the activities from their previous tasks. As it has been seen that there are tasks scheduled in a manner that the dependency of the tasks are often high. In this case one need to wait for starting an activity as long as the previous activity does not end. Again in case of presence of critical path dependency on number of activities increases. Hence it is recommended to reduce the dependency of tasks as much as possible. This will be acting beneficial (Zhao, Cui & Tian 2019). After decreasing the dependency, more than one tasks can be started concurrently. In this way the time that is required for execution of the task decreases. On following the above two recommendations the project will get completed within the new schedule.
