INTRODUCTION
It is important for every organisation to plan and manage the
resources to attain the target with efficiency. It should be among
one of the basic strategy of the managers while planning for a
particular task. In this report , emphasis is thrown on the
resource planning and management of National Health
Service , UK.

TASK 1
Planning is done by the managers of all the business organisation
to beat the competitors of the target market. Resource planning
and management is also done by the managers to get the
maximum production from the available resources. Planning
can be defined as the systematic approach to accomplish the
task using effective consumption of resources.

The same concept is adopted the National Health Service , UK to
set its image in the community (Miller and et.al., 2015). This
organisation serves the people in need. To keep the patients
happy, the managers over there are adhered to a sequential
planning process. Every month, the the average number of the
patients admitted are been tracked. Then, according to the needs
of them, the resources are acquired by the managers , like, beds,
sanitary products, first aid kits, other equipments etc. They are
acquired in surplus quantity to treat the patients in emergency.
Similarly, the care takers are hired accordingly to have an easy
flow of work.

Forecasting can be defined as a prediction or estimation of the
resources requires to accomplish a particular task. According to
the need of the target market it has to be done . For this, the
factors which are affecting the organisation can be analysed
using PEST and SWOT analysis. With the help of this one can
procure the raw material which can be used as a strength for the
organisation and to discard the things which are not favourable
for the organisation. Though this has its advantages , but
sometimes the estimation may not be correct. The mangers have
to decide in an appropriate manner to benefit the organisation.

As it is a social care sector, the sources of funding has to be
managed in a proper way. It has to incur investment while
installing any new technique ,equipment or to collaborate with a
renowned doctors (Renz and et.al., 2016). To raise the funds
for the same , the managers have to connect themselves with the
other big associations to manage the resources in an appropriate
manner. The mangers have to classify the cost, that is, cost for
recruiting human resources, cost for procuring medicines or any
new equipments, cost incurred in providing food to the patients,
etc. All these are calculated while making the budget for the
successful organisation.

In order to manufacture any product every organisation need
resources. These are the basic raw material for any target to be
accomplished. Resources may be tangible which can be seen or
touched such as money, infrastructure , raw material ,etc. or it
may be intangible which cannot be touched , for example,
skills, motivation etc. It is important to manage them for their
effective consumption . This will really help to minimize the
waste. Economics of the material wealth of the organisation can
be made effective by planning and managing the resources.

Resources includes all the sources related to the human
satisfaction,health , strength, skills, funds, capital assets,
technologies and other cultural and physical aspects. Resources
are not perceived according to their nature but they are defined
and used according to the needs of the market and a particular
business to satisfy the needs of the customers. The mangers of
the organisation track the market place and procure the raw
material accordingly to stand out in the target market. Hence,
we can say that resources are the dynamic cultural conceptions.

It is important to have an effective resource management for the
success of any organisation. Resource management can be
defined as efficient and effective way to develop the resources
of the organisation as and when they are needed. One of its
technique is to level the resources which helps to smooth-en the
stock of resources on hand by reducing both excess inventories
and the shortages. The same is done by the National Health
Service , UK to manage the resources in a better way.

To have an effective resource management one must have a list of
projects planned for a particular year at hand. The managers
must have resource capability database. To increase the
productivity of the team the automation in the project reporting
system and the project status report is very useful. One has to
implement such kind of technologies. One must have a
knowledge of future requirements and the future projects to
assist in proper resource optimisation and utilisation. It is a key
factor to retain the valuable employees in the organisation
(Tarhini and et.al., 2015).

CONCLUSION
To conclude we can say that it is important to plan and manage
the resources in any organisation to reach the target with
maximum productivity. For this , the managers have to
encourage team working among the individuals . It is
beneficial to track the production as regular intervals to
improve anything which is not going in the right way.
