Introduction
The main aim of creating this portfolio is to present my knowledge and skills in order to get my
desired job role of operation manager in a well known or famous global management
consultancy which is McKinsey and company. Job portfolio of mine will include my overall
personal statement which is helpful in presenting my different skills and all the knowledge and
also experience that I gained during my past life. I will make sure that and take proper steps in
order to keep my application of the job role to stand out from other candidates to get preference
among the job recruiters (Atiemo and et. al., 2020). Also for getting the attraction of the HR
managers which will perform recruiting process it is important to include my Curriculum Vitae
(CV) which will be designed according to the needs which are required for the job role in
McKinsey and company. I will also perform my personal SWOT Analysis to analyse my
strengths or strong points and weaknesses or weak points t properly know myself and my
capabilities. After that I will focus on making a personal action plan for myself for working on
my existing skills and improve them or develop them whichever is required for the desired job
role. I will undertake the proper structure of personal development plan so that skills can be
improved within the specified deadline (Bass, 2019).
All the activities related to making of my CV and personal statement will benefit me to
know about my skills as well as abilities which will help in my future. By making my skills more
reliable and better for the job role of operation manager, I get a privilege of standing out from
crowd which will make me a perfect choice for the relevant job role. If the CV made is
originative and cover essential content then it can benefit me to carry the questioner to select me
in proper mode.
I have chosen McKinsey and company to work in that organisation at the post of
operation manager. The firm is one of the biggest and well known company globally in the field
of management consulting. Company was founded in the year 1926 by James O. McKinsey
which is a professor of university of Chicago. Company provides different professional services
to the government, companies, other businesses (Dimitrova and et. Al, 2020). The company
holds the position as third largest strategy consulting company by revenue and also company is
one of the biggest and oldest company present in the economy. The main focus of the company

is to meet the financial as well as operational needs of the client organisation in order to help
them to grow in future. The another advantage of choosing this company as company have an
excellent environment for mastering professional development and learn new things as well with
best class growth opportunities by taking access of unlimited E – learning courses offered by the
company (Entwistle, 2020). This will help me to improve my professionals as well as academic
skills in the future also with best facilities and mentors. Also there are many perks of working in
the company a sit gives different incentives and facilities such as comprehensive medical cover,
Annual performance related bonus, best in class benefits and much more. Along with this, the
healthy operative culture ,competing salary as well as positive work-life scale are the other
factors that actuated me to apply in this organization (Stanton and Stanton, 2020).

Introduction about myself
My name is John and I am from London, UK. I am a person with strong interpersonal
skills and good creativity. I love to solve problems and find a creative solution to solve that
problem. Not only for a specific problem I just love to give opinionated ideas or opinions also on
any matter (Sharif, Ahmad and Sarwar, 2019). Also for that I want to know the reasons and I just
become curious for it. I have many interests in the fields such as finance, operations, marketing
and other but I am very much interested in management and operational field which drives me to
get on the promotions and take me on other higher posts. Some of my hobbies are travelling,
listening music, and playing badminton. Along with that I love to cook food and always tries to
make new dishes and love to take feedback from others. My aim in the life is to become a well
known personality whose details are available on google search. Also I want to grow in the field
of management operations in the business. I am an open minded person and adapts the changes
quickly according to the changes in the surroundings of business which will be very helpful for
me to impress my interviewers (Fiala, 2021).

I have passed my school from EIFA International school London. After that I have done
by graduation from a well known institute in London. Later on I took admission in MBA in the

all over the world. MBA degree helped me to gain a brief knowledge about the business
terminologies and models. Along with this, it has also enabled me to improve my professional as
well as academic skills such as communication skills, problem solving skills and decision
making skills by participating in the various type of projects as well as case studies. I am very
much confident to pass my process of selection from McKinsey company. For that I also have
developed relevant skills and knowledge which are required to cope up with complex business
environment challenges by applying my knowledge along with the research. I also took part in
many projects as a leader during my time at the London School of Business. This will also give
me a great advantage to enhance my leadership skills.
Work experience
I have worked in the field of business management and also operation management for

Manager of 3 years in the Marks & Spencer. Experience from this job will greatly help me in my
future jobs or personal work. Due to this I can perform more effectively with a great efficiency in
my future job roles and even in the McKinsey & company. This is because I have strong
knowledge and cognitive content to work with various operational management tools like
Enterprise resource planning systems, Customer Relationship Software along with the six sigma
tool. All of this will make me capable of working as an operation manager in the McKinsey &
Company. Another important skill that I have learned from my past experience is quick decision
making according to the situation which will be more beneficial for the company. My superiors
always gave me credit for my good decisions making in the different projects.

organisation. After analysing, I can say that I will satisfy all the requirements which are needed
