INTRODUCTIONPlanning the career is the self responsibility. Today's competitive labour market andcomplex business environment requires effective planning regarding career to becomesuccessful. One needs to do lots of research and also use the employability centre in universities.The report briefly describes the ideal career for individual in selected industry and also describesthe various internal and external factors that can affect the chosen career path. MAIN BODYDescribe ideal career in given industryCareer is defined as the sequence of jobs that person does for living and career planningis a process through which one can select career paths and career goals (Wildschut and Meyer,2016). The career planning encourages own-self for exploring and gathering information that canenable me to synthesise, gain skills and competencies, make decisions, setting goals andobjectives and taking actions. Career planning is considered as the continuous process.I chose the ideal career as an human resource manager because it is present in almostevery industry. The hospitality industry aims at recruiting talented employees and requireseffective HRM that can make use of different HR practices and achieve overall goals andobjectives. Career goals are referred as the desired future position and it helps me to strive forreaching as a part of the career and in present report, it is Human Resource Manager. Thesequential patterns of different jobs during my career are considered as the career path. This isthe long term perspective of job.The digital marketing can bring effects on HRM as they can make effective use of it. Thedigital marketing can be used for recruiting employees, or using digital marketing for doingpromotions and job advertisements. My selected career choice has two main roles in HRdepartment and it can be providing training and development programs, conducting interviewsand applying various HR practices (Wildschut and Meyer, 2016). The legal department playsimportant role in the HRM and also in day-to-day operations. There are various legalrequirements in HRM that needs to be compiled and adhere to. Career in HR management has a great growth in terms of pay scale and position in anyorganisation. Each and every hospitality organisation such as Hotels or Tourism companies arelooking for effective and skilled human resource managers in order to develop strong workforce1
