1. Ocean environment is intact that increases natural as well as cultural resources.
The world faces disturbances due to greenhouse gas and the growth of aquaculture.
It causes damage to marine life. It also damages the environment and cause
damage to biodiversity and lead to the reduction in the overall function.
2. As per the article, the evidence show that plastic bags are the threat to the
environment and these bags involve long distances which are blown by the wind and
do not break until reach the river or ocean. It does not biodegrade and breaks into
minor parts, thus plastic bags in the ocean are the deadliest threat to birds, sea
birds, marine mammals.
3. Biodegradable plastics are the incorrect outcome to the problems in oceans.
Plastics are mostly durable and it tends to high amount of plastic waste.
Biodegradable plastics create better approach and it has not been the effective one.
Plastic pollution has generated huge problem and is also known as the major
contributor in the biodegradable plastics. (Gerpe, et. al 2012)
4. The solution is the biodegradable plastic where the properties of plastic will not
continue for long term. With respect to the scenario, it might get lost with nature or
decomposed with the organic products. The other solution is to remove plastic. With
the efforts that involve trash collection is good based on the positive attitude. The
high volume of plastic trash does not have to focus on labor and capital. These are
the short term solution but for the long term solution, the behavior of people is the
major issue and it needs to be changed. Plastic is not good for health and one
should avoid its uses. (Moore, et. al, 2011)

5. It is clear approach on win – win strategies for the decrease in the sudden
emissions. The things that could be done on anyway, if the global warming had not
been thought, it decrease the deforestation which is a big win – win. It decreases
carbon emissions and there is a need to pay to the nations like Brazil and Indonesia
to create separation from the forest.
6. The technological issues are not related to the new technologies and innovations.
As per the objectives and goals of Robert Socolow and Stephen Pacala, the concept
