world mainly in the developed countries like America, England etc., that resulted into the creation of new sources of water pollution (Heliovaara, 2018). Sustainability can be described as a process of maintaining the balance of
environment, communities around the world. It means individuals, businesses should carry out activities such as exploration of natural resources, orientation of technological evolution, etc., in such a way which ensures harmony.
However, the primary problem because of water pollutants in past was that it kills living things that depend upon these water bodies, for example, fishes, crabs, birds and sea gulls, dolphins, and other animals often live on beaches,
killed by way of pollution of their surroundings. The triple bottom line has a great experience in past matters at it related to balancing all such factors such as environment, social life of people and financial matters and they can
save in past which results in bring new and positive impact in environment but the present condition is poor due to resulting in more wastages of products and there is no renewal of waste products. the future condition of the triple
bottom are not neutral as the company are earning more which resulting in wastages of the products and causing harm to environment. This affects the profit of the company and they didn’t save more for future.
2. Impact of water pollution on communities in present era
However, it is pronounced that around 75 to 80% of water pollution which is due to the domestic waste from BASF chemical
industry. Further, Waste from the industries like, sugar, textile, electroplating, insecticides, pulp and paper are polluting the water and
which in turn polluting the river which have unbearable odour and consists of fewer plants and fauna. Therefore, around 75% of the
world’s populace is facing threats to water security which in turn harming the large communities as well. In past era people reuse the
plastic to save environment but now a day’s people are throwing such plastics in ocean and rivers which they clean their area but
causing more heath problems resulting in pollution in that places. Plastics can be reused as a trash bags which can save many wastages
to be put on ocean and also many people redesigned that plastic material to innovate some new ideas and results in hygienic to the
environment and people health are more secured through such activity.
Moreover, industrialisation, production sites and factories produce poisonous chemical compounds or use them in production and these
chemicals are then uncovered to rainwater which grounds them to be washed into the soil or at once into rivers, streams or lakes. Thus, this is one of
the foremost elements leading to a boom in commercial water pollution by BASF chemical company. Furthermore, while polluted water from the

Furthermore, right waste treatment is required by the chemical company to bound the amount of toxic substances that typically become in water structures
along with lakes, rivers, and oceans. Additionally, individual houses that use contaminated tanks or cellar evacuation need to make sure right management in their
home sewage to avoid pollutants.
Moreover, an extended-term solution that could lessen pollutants from agricultural chemical substances is studies into extra sustainable methods of farming
huge quantities of meals, which include ecosystem technology or bio-mimicry. Further, non-polluting agricultural chemicals will in the end grow to be necessary,
because all pesticides are toxicant; indefinitely counting on them isn't an answer so one can create incorporate ecosystems, which are vital to eventually growth

the level of pollution or garbage from river.
Plastic wastage in UK: People in UK doing with plastic wastage
By doing assessment, it has identified that, in UK, approx. 91% of plastic is not recycled. Hence, millions of tons plastic
waste may be dumped overseas rather than recycling. Every year households reside in Britain throw 22 million tons of
waste into bin. However, due to the lack of having effectual infrastructure Britain failed to recycle plastic waste and lays

With the motive to reduce the level of plastic wastage and ensures sustainability
aspect several actions are taken by the government such as:
 Banning microbeads
 Emphasis on using nom-plastic aisles in supermarket
 Extension on 5p carrier bag tax (A Whopping 91% of plastic is not
recycled, 2019)
People attitude towards plastic wastage in past and present
In the previous times, no emphasis was placed by the customers on aspects
pertaining to environment sustainability. However, in the recent times,
customers lay focus on purchasing eco-friendly products. Moreover, waste
generated through plastic adversely impacts health of individuals. Thus, now as
per customer decision making model, individuals give high priority to the
retailer \who focuses on sustainable operations.
Government’s future action regarding the reduction of plastic
wastage in 2020: Future
For enhancing the level of environment sustainability UK
government is involved in building competent strategic and policy
framework. Moreover, now UK recognized as worst under the
category of recycling rates:
 In 2020, strategy regarding ban on straws, stirrers and cotton
buds will contribute in removing the level of plastic wastage
from market (UK presses ahead with ban on single-use
plastics. 2019).
 Along with this, UK government is also planning to
introduce deposit scheme in relation to submit all drink
containers.
All these helps in reducing the level of plastic waste by at least
50%.
