Wildlife crime is serious issue in the word and
many governments are taking action to reduce it.
It refers to trading, tracking, exporting and
processing of flora and fauna. It not only includes
animals but also forest product at international and
national level. Although it includes poaching and
wild life tracking .
Poaching is known as illegal hunting, killing and
capturing wild animals. It is a crime because it is
done for reasons that include claiming the land for
human use. Although it has been done for unlawful
motives like collecting the unique rare animal
products like organ, skin, fur, teeth and bones.
Poaching is however being not only about the killing of
endangered animals but any unlawful killing of an
animal. It is also known as other activities like killing
protected animals without license in illegal manner.
Although most of the people do this activity for a
variety of reasons like including for food and pleasure.
It is a threat to both animal and human
population as well as not limited to rare or
large animal. Along with this, one of the
dangerous effect is it lead in decreasing the
population of native animals. That in turn
effect the ecosystem in which animals belongs.
In addition, it will also decline habitat loss.
Poaching has been from 20th century which
include taking of a game or fish by peasants.
Along with this, in medieval Europe King has
describe about the rights to hunt and fish on the
land they owned. However, poaching back then
was also a serious crime.
Modern poaching is considered as sport for
commercial purpose in both black and legal
markets. It is a threat to particular wild animal
that are on verge of depletion like One Horn
Rhino and Bengal tiger. Although river poaching
has also caused problem in depletion in stock of
fish.

Plants are also known as susceptible to
poaching. Even when forest is not cleared
people cut valuable trees like rosewood and
mahogany is illegal. That lead in decreasing
both the animals and trees that depend on each
other. Some of the trees like cycads and cacti are
illegally collected and not be killed.
Due to poaching bio diverse forest change and it
result in climate disturbance. It affects
environment by decreasing the particular species
of animals. Moreover, it causes animals that are
endangered ha to become extinct and result in
disruption in food chain. It will lead in new
adaption of species.
It impacts negatively on environment as one
species will be at declining rate and other can
increase. Although plant life can also overgrow or
regrow due to animals which are generally hunted
by poached animals. It is linked to spread of viral
and deadly disease from wildlife animals to humans.
Example like, COVID – 19 pandemics.
If any of this laws have been breaches by any of the
party then it will impose for criminal offence which
will lead to unlimited fine for six months,
Poaching is difficult to handle as it falls under
various laws of UK. However, it is hard to find
and measure the impact of poaching in UK as
Poaching is a criminal offence in UK under
section 30 Game Act 1831. It is an offence for

the anti-poaching efforts. Although the rule state

become less attractive to potential tourist. It

restaurants and hotel.
Poaching have environmental impact and
sometime it is visible and harder to find. One of
the most obvious impact is depletion in number of
wildlife animal in particular area. The firs impact
is killing animal, reducing breeding and in longer
term thinning the pool and overall diversity.

There is various way through which poaching can
be handle such as petition to local government to
stop or restrict legal trade. Reporting any illegal
wild life trade through internet so that other
authorities can take actions to solve the quires.
Along with this, government can also make
donation to benefit volunteers that contribute in
saving the wildlife.
Poaching is a very in human act and it should
be banned in order to safeguard the wild life
animals. The government of every country
need to make strict wild life acts and rules and
higher penalty should be stated in order to
catch poachers. Some wild life organization
like NGO need to be open so that proper
protection can be given to animals that area
rare. Along with this, education and awareness
about such act need to be given to general
public in order to protect eco system.
It is also known as massive destruction in which
has animals are generally endangered or even
extinct due to poaching. Some of the animal are
Rhinos, elephants and fish. In china have ivory is
symbol of wealth and due to that there was
increase in poaching. There is various country in
which poaching is big problem such as China,
Tanzania and Uganda. However, the part of the
animal organ is sell in illegal fur trade.
