A political organization is an organisation which is involved in political activities that
include political parties, special interest groups, religious groups and non-governmental
organizations. These organizations are engaged in campaigning, lobbying, advertising,
prompting, community organizing pertaining to political activities and processes, designed to
achieve the political agendas for the benefit of the political parties, ruling a State or an
opposition. In addition, the political parties are a kind of political organization too, who are most
engaged in choosing candidate for the post of public office, campaigning for elections, and on
winning, they control the government.
The political organizations are indeed important for the political parties for gaining
strength through support, campaigns, advertisements, et cetera. The objective of the political
organizations is to either support the government pertaining to its roles and activities or to
counter the government and influence it to work more effectively, which would improve the
political scenario of the State. As pointed by the United Nations, non-governmental
organizations highlight women’s right, which improves the status of women in the society
("Chapter 3", 2019). In addition, it can even improve women’s participation in political
activities, thereby improving the political scenario of the State. Similarly, special interest groups
are groups who share similar goals like influencing the public towards specific purpose, for
example participation in any kind of social movement essential for the society at large. Special
groups include business organizations, labour unions and other public interest groups. Business
organizations help political parties and other type of political organizations with financial
support and other kinds of resources, while labour unions and political parties are mutually
dependent on one another, the former helping in promoting and support a political party or
banner and adds members to it, while the latter helps it by resolving the various claims of the
